Troy Brennan: Every Southie in Boston knows that name. The son of a dead mobster. The heartthrob with steel-blue eyes. "The Fixer" who can make or break you in this city. Oh, and my new husband. Sparrow Raynes: That's me. No one seemed to remember my name up until he barged into my life. But then he caged me. Kidnapped me. It's not always easy being a female warrior with a nickname like Annwyl the Bloody. Men tend to either cower in fear-a lot-or else salute. It's true that Annwyl has a knack for decapitating legions of her ruthless brother's soldiers without pausing for breath. But just once it would be nice to be able to really talk to a man - the way she can talk to Fearghus the Destroyer. Too bad that Fearghus is a dragon, of the large, scaly, and deadly type.

well I finally understand when the other reviews talk about being so annoyed when the female lead gets all "wet and Lusty" (cringe) the second the guy looks at her! what is that even about!? it's totally unrealistic and I cannot relate to it in the least. I'm fine with being so drawn to the other person that it's overwhelming but gosh there's no meat and potatoes to it in this read.
