When Nathan wakes up in the home of a strange group of dragons after having been held hostage for months by a group of dragon hunters, he’s overwhelmed by anxiety...until he hears it. Heartsong. Blinking his eyes, he looks over to see a sexy older alpha dragon kneeling at his bedside. His kind, crinkled green eyes and gray streaked hair set Nathan’s heart on fire.

This one was fantastic! Colin Darcy did a wonderful job of bringing this book to life in a completely new way! I am fairly new to Mr. Darcy's narrations and now I cannot wait to listen to more. Piper Scott and Susi Hawk wrote a worthy ending to this fun series!

Captain Jamie Callahan knows the Metahuman Defense Force frowns on fraternization. For once in his life, he’s breaking all the rules. Having Staff Sergeant Kyle Brannigan on his team and in his bed is worth the risk of being found out. When a mission comes down requiring Alpha Team to go undercover in order to infiltrate a criminal alliance, Jamie knows it won’t be easy. Putting his family’s name on the line is nothing compared to the role the MDF wants him to play.

Reed: I've spent my whole life causing trouble for my parents, but this time I went too far. After the scandal I caused nearly ruined my mom's political career, they decided to do something drastic - and that's how I ended up in on a ranch in Ely, Wyoming, a zillion miles from civilization. But it's not like I care that I have no friends, my family despises me, and I totally ruined my life in a really public way. And I definitely don't cry myself to sleep every night. The good news? The ranch hand, Brady, is super hot. I mean, I only want to get him in bed to prove I can.

I am a big fan of Ruthie Luhnow and have read just about everything he has written...and I truly enjoyed this one! I loved the main characters....I love books about snarky brats and this one was great! My only issue I had with this one was the narrator...It was my first by Sean Crisden and while he does a great job with the voices, the way he drops his inflection at the end of almost every sentence drove me insane! I have heard good things about him and I do plan to try another by him in the future...but the way he softens his voice at the end of every sentence...I just can't listen to another one where he does that!

In all the years that they’ve been on the streets fighting to survive, they’ve had one end goal: to one day find an alpha strong enough to love both of them equally. Maxx has been waiting for a mate of his own. He's watched every alpha in his pack from his older brother to his best friends, all couple up one by one with omegas to call their own. Maxx has always believed in fate, and he knows that Fenris above has the perfect wolf fated to be his mate. It's just a matter of when they will meet. Oskar doesn't believe in fated mates, nor does he want a mate at all for that matter. After dealing with a vicious ex, Oskar doesn't want to ever have to answer to an alpha again. Besides, who would want an over-sized Alpha looking Omega like him anyway? What he doesn't expect, is to meet a little wolf alpha that makes his big bear heart turn to goo.

Ryan is the last unmated omega from the original group that settled at the lodge. He's the runt of the pack. The beloved kid brother that everyone adores. Now he's all grown up, and has seen the joy that his friends all share with their mates. Ryan claims that he doesn't want a mate. He'd rather be alone than to be bossed around by yet another person who doesn't really see past his bratty exterior to the real man that lies beneath.

Nathan wasn't sure why people were so obsessed with dating and sex. Sure it probably felt good, but he just couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. It might have helped if he knew what he was looking for. But with so many labels and options, he just wasn't sure. It seemed so easy to everyone else, but to him, it felt like something was missing. Gabriel thought Nathan was absolutely perfect. Sweet, funny, sexy, and completely confused about what he desired; but absolutely perfect.
