The preview for this story intrigued me enough to purchase the book. It did not prepare me for the depths, scope and the mind-boggling implications of this adventure. To think that a man has walked alone through two thousand years of living history; influencing it in ways that seems so simple yet were so profound.
Listening to this story, with all the different voices, made it even more compelling. It is an experience I will not soon forget and will definitely revisit; once I've had time to fully digest it.
A must-read for those who enjoy mystery intrigue and compelling theological study.

David Wolfe is my kind of man. Strong tough Kick-Ass yet compassionate flawed and human. His intelligence is matched only by his sense of duty and rightness. He's a wonderful father and a conflicted ex-husband. The suspense and intrigue in these first four books was so intense I had to listen to them again because I knew I'd missed some things and I had. I don't think you'll be disappointed in this series.

it results in an amazing story. I was spellbound from the beginning to the end of this book then listen to it again cause I knew I missed some stuff.

Jack and Stephanie are in real trouble from the very beginning. An arrogant State Trooper, an unlikely second couple, and a mysterious house in the middle of nowhere take their situation from bad to unreal.

The struggle between Spiritual good and evil becomes personal fast. Atheist start to believe; religious start to doubt. Evil threatens to swallow them whole until a single ray of light shines through the darkness. They are trapped in a malicious web of chaos with olny one way out.
Unless Jack and Stephanie dig deep to uncover the real reason for the darkness inside them, that same darkness will destroy them and everyone around them.

If you are a Dekker or a Peretti fan, this is a must-read!

Tankbread is a very unique story I found myself riveted to. The apocalyptic premise of it is very intriguing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside was the Excessively Unnecessary use of the F-word and the overly graphic descriptions of the decaying zombies. Make sure you aren't eating or have just eaten when listening to it otherwise the meal might become a wasted effort.

Else is hysterical! I thoroughly enjoyed her discovery of humanity and knowledge. I found her childlike innocence very endearing; especially while she was at the convent. The relationship that develops between her and her companion is as natural as it is unexpected.

However, for me the most stunning part of the entire story is the answer to the last question Else is asked. I never realized that it was never said, mentioned or even alluded to; yet his presence is undeniable. That made the story truly awesome!!

I knew that Michelle Obama's story would be a very interesting one. But to share it in her own voice made it all the more poignant. To hear the excitement and the trepidation, the longing, the angst; to hear all those emotions come alive as she remembers them and frankly tells us about so many occurrences that shaped her was so engaging. I have always believed she is an amazing woman and she had my respect from the first time I saw her on stage beside her husband. Knowing now all of her fears, concerns and personal battles I have even more respect for her.
Stiff-necked and narrow-minded people limited the abundant good that President and Mrs Obama could have done while in office but I am so very proud and so very thankful that neither of them allow that to stop them from trying. They constantly showing that things could be done if you got up and pushed to do them. I am so proud to have been alive and aware during theirb time of their tenure in the White House. Our country will never truly realize the gift it was given and squandered in Barack and Michelle Obama. Thank you God bless you and God bless the true America.

I was very glad to see that Max had acquired enough patience to give Anna enough time to pull her head from her backside. She was starting to become very annoying in this book because she was constantly wondering off to take a walk and getting into trouble. Where I come from one plus one equals two. If you take a walk and always get into trouble stop taking walks! But then that would have ended the story much too soon. I loved the Intrigue, the Royal politics and the queen was always a hot mess. Just when I thought the story had ended I see there's another book to the series. I shall have to find it forth with and continue my adventure with the dragons.
