Both the narration and the story were great!! I've loved all of Riordan's books but he really outdid himself with Apollo's point of view. A far cry from the typical teenage hero angst but at the same type the quintessential example, Apollo is a very memorable character. And meanwhile I was laughing at Riordan's dry sense of humor!!

Where does Black Dog Blues rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Black Dog Blues is Rhys Ford's best work so far! The world building was phenomenal and I really enjoyed the double layers of mystery.

What about Greg Tremblay’s performance did you like?

Great as always!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Seraphina?

Seraphina's troubles are unique to her...or are they? Seraphina finds that she is not alone in her challenges and struggles and forms a very different but special sort of family - both out of new friends and out of her strange really family. But though Seraphina's (and her friends) troubles may be unique to their world - her difficult road to accepting herself is something that will resonate with listeners of all ages.

What did you love best about Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library?

I loved how the characters needed to learn, grow AND work together to achieve success. Don't get me wrong, I loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and there was something of that feel here...but here the characters weren't cookie cutter-they had flaws and strengths and they grew to see those things in themselves and each other!

I really loved how Flewelling brought the series full circle. The characters have all had realistic growth over the 7 books and now we get to see them settle into their lives. Good plot line and good resolution!

Excellent descriptions regarding time period, loved the suspense how all the suspects seemed possible at different points. But the conclusion was unsatisfying, happened too fast, not sure how protagonist came to her conclusion...
