Lead singer of the start-up band Four Real Tricia Donahue left her hometown with one question: How can you love three men at once? She’s convinced herself it can’t be done - not without living up to her family’s infamous reputation. Now, years later, lead guitarist Michael Hill is touring with world-famous TRE, far removed from the small-town band he once called his family. Home will never be the same until he makes things right. Reunion time for four best friends with unfinished business means they will finally face the music.

First a confession I love poly relationships and Alyssa Turner knows how to write them. This is the second book of hers I have listened to and it will not be the last. I loved this story line, four kids grow up together, even start a band together, and they loved each other although there was nothing in their life that made them think this was okay. Tricia runs away from her friends because she fears societies judgement. Not until high school reunion and the band gets back together for nostalgia that Tricia realizes that she still loves these men.

I loved the narration team on this book. They gave great voice and personality to each character.

I would love to see where this relationship goes in the future and I will definitely keep my eyes out for more books by Ms. Turner

This book kept me riveted. I would have gotten more cleaning done if the book had not been so good. The storyline kept moving, kept you questioning what you thought you knew, and never once did my mind wander from it.

I did not notice when I purchased the book that there were sound effects and music. I am not normally a fan of things like that but these were done subtly enough that they did not distract from the book at all and Blended well.

The narrator for this book was fantastic. he has excellent German accent and pronunciation, his voice was comfortable to listen to even when parts of the book were uncomfortable. I would definitely seek out this narrator again to listen to other books he has done.

I would also definitely look for this author and find other items he has written.

As somebody who also has RP reading this book has made me grateful for my experience with this disease. A dog would have been nice over the years, but I function well as I am and guide dogs are not cheap. I love her relationship with her dogs. I love the obstacles that she has overcome. All in all a very good book and one that makes you look for the good side of everything.

The characters in this story were so relatable, I felt like I could get to know them well, and look forward to reading other books in this series so that I can watch their relationship grow and change. I enjoyed the storyline it was believable, heartbreaking in places, but all things that I could see actually happening.

The multiple voices for narrator was good, at times kind of confusing because it was not like one specific voice was being used for one specific character. Although not how I would envision reading a book this worked and the narration was never a distraction from the story for me.

Although I started this series on the second book I definitely will make a point of getting book 1 and then keeping an eye out for any future books in the series.

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat. when you think you're in calm seas is when something is really going to happen. I enjoyed the character development in this book politically I think I disagree in large part from the author but he carries his story line through out well.

I enjoyed the narration greatly, the narrator was able to switch back and forth between multiple nationality accents and did so without ever me feeling as though he missed something.

This is definitely a book I would recommend to my husband who is an adventure book reader and would enjoy this even more than I.

Right after I ordered this book my eyes fell on a review about the rape and child molestation scene in the book and my heart dropped and I thought I was going to have to return a book. I decided to go ahead and listen to it, and I am very glad I did. The book did have a rape scene and a remotely viewed child molestation scene that could have been done more graphically and been horrendous but the telling of it was very necessary to explain the character and why he is the way he is. It was handled very sensitively.

The story itself was very intense but most books that deal in BDSM tend to get intense. I loved the description of the different demons and the humanization of angels.

The narrator did a fabulous job with this book. he moved it along he kept it level he allowed the emotions and the story itself to be presented. I really appreciate narrators like this.

I first studied stoicism when I was in university. in addition to my coursework my husband who was a history and Humanities teaching assistant took it upon himself to teach me stoicism. This book was a great refresh of the basics of stoicism and how to make it work within your Modern Life. It is not about living robotically but it is about learning to live with in the moment although you're planning toward the future you're enjoying each moment that comes and not being ruled by emotion.

For dry material I must say that the narrator in this kept his voice very interesting and because of it the topic seemed more interesting as well.

Some days you just want a book that is going to make you laugh, that is going to make you shake your head and say why but you thoroughly enjoy the Escape into the comedy and the insanity of the main character. This book will leave you laughing, which is weird because it has a murder in it. And yet you can not help but feel like it doesn't matter.

I really appreciated the narrator who kept a steady even keel no matter how insane the book got around him.

To guys out there no the methods used by the title character of this book do not work, do not use this as a way of treating women as I will guarantee you you will not get the results that this guy did.
