Most of us can only imagine what it would be like to have a child snatched from almost right in front of us. And to be offered your own kind of justice. This is a definite edge of your seat book, however in the beginning i felt the story dragged on getting to know the players. But once the tragedy strikes the book moves at fast pace and you won't want to put it down. I wish a few of the scenes went into more depth and embraced the revenge scenario more. Overall the book is really good and despite the length a pretty fast easy listen. Nice job on the narration.

This is really a fun edge of your seat kind of book. In the opening of the book your heart will go out to the young lady, with her not so full proof plan. But the real hero of the story is Katerina and her failing business. She is such a great character and I love her ex-boyfriend/business partner too. An incident later in the story really has me wondering who she can really trust though. The story is fun, moves at a great pace and keeps you on your toes and not wanting to put it down. Nice job on the narration.

Arabella and Emily find themselves in the middle of another murder. Only this time it is really close to home for Arabella. Some moments with her ex I would love to see them reunited, they really are great together. She and Emily start their own investigation to help save him and as always you don't see the ending going in that direction. I love that about this series. And I think each book could be read as a stand alone, but you will love the whole series. The characters are well developed and a lot of fun. Great job on the narration.

Emily just finished up her first year of residency and is long overdue for a break. After her friends wedding she has been invited to stay a while at the ranch before returning to work. After Emily's family has basically planned her whole life for her, she is hit with a lot of unexpected twists. She does a fantastic job rolling with it, but her parents not so much. The story is really sweet. The narrator has a nice voice and did a good job, but was perhaps a little rough for this story.

Alyssa Wayne woke up with a start. She lay there holding her breath, listening intently to the quiet. After a tense moment, she let out her breath, relaxed, and was just about to turn over when she heard a soft scratching noise. The next sound she heard had her sitting straight up in bed. She was certain it was the click of the front door. She sat paralyzed with fear at the certainty that someone had just entered her apartment. She was equally certain it wasn’t her roommate.

The Alexanders have landed another case and this time they are off to the big easy. Although the case actually starts in their own back door, the victim is followed on a business trip. Marla Josephs does a wonderful job making you feel like you are in New Orleans. With her wonderful descriptions of the area and the food you will want to plan a visit. Of course the bad guys in the story don't seem to want to enjoy the scenery. The story will have you on the edge of you seat with a nice plot twist near the end. Most of your favorite characters are present in the story so its like visiting friends and perhaps a few not so favorite characters. D.C. Cole does an amazing job with the narration and bringing the story to life.

Getting to step back and get Zinnia's story was such a delight. I really enjoyed her quirky character in book 1 and this book gives so much insight into her and how she became how she is. It was also so eye opening to the wonderful little town. My heart really went out to her as the story unfolded and the ending kinda broke my heart for her. Zinnia still has may mysteries to share that I hope will come out in future books and I so look forward to those. This series is turning out to be a blast! The narration was very nice as well.

This story was so much fun! The more I listened the more I needed to finish. At first I was a bit confused getting to know the characters, but it gets sorted out quickly and is defiantly worth keeping going. And unless I mixed up my characters you will be guessing the wrong person through most of the story. Having never been on a cruise the descriptions were great giving me a clear picture. I loved the characters, Marjorie was defiantly a favorite! Loved the narration by Alex Lee, she does a fantastic job bringing this story to life.
