What would have made Aftermath: Star Wars better?

A different author

Would you ever listen to anything by Chuck Wendig again?

Any additional comments?

Disjointed at best. A clumsy patchwork of second rate characters. Author is also a LGBT advocate who wishes to shove his agenda in everybody's face. This actually makes the prequels look good. Ya, it's that bad.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Different narrator.

Would you be willing to try another book from Martha Wells? Why or why not?

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of January LaVoy?

Marc Thompson.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

She is TERRIBLE at doing character voices. Great third person narration.

Any additional comments?

January LaVoy does wonderful third person narration. I think she is just a good as Mark Thompson. Her attempts at first person voices we're horrible and distracting. Gave up after four chapters. Going to read the book instead.

Marc Thompson is great as always. I could listen to this guy read the back of my cereal box. As for the story. Come aboard for the journey, not the destination. Resign yourself to being content with the disjointed meanderings of the author. The conclusion, much like this review, is lack luster. Still, beats the heck out of listening to some blow hard disk jockey during the commute.
