In 1962, Don and Carol Richardson risked their lives to share the gospel with the Sawi people of New Guinea. Peace Child tells their unforgettable story of living among these headhunters and cannibals who valued treachery through fattening victims with friendship before the slaughter. God gave Don and Carol the key to the Sawi hearts via a redemptive analogy from their own mythology.

It was a great story, great writer, enjoyed getting such a different experience. It felt a little long at times, but what a cool account!

Great story, not a big fan of the ending though - just didn't seem like enough closure. Narrator did a great job.

A touch of computer keys, a blast of heat, and suddenly the Murry twins, Sandy and Dennys, are gasping in a shimmering desert land. If only the brothers had normal parents, not a scientist mother and a father who experiments with space and time travel. If only the Murry twins had noticed the note on the door of their mother's lab: Experiment in Progress. Please Keep Out....But it's too late for regrets.

Many Waters was amazing! Madeleine L'Engle never ceases to surprise me with her perspective, knowledge, and interesting connections. Many Waters may be my favorite in the series. What a neat concept! And Ann Marie Lee did an amazing job narrating, keeping the characters distinct and inflection real and true to the situation. Great experience!
