She's not a quiet librarian. My landlord is infuriating. He's uptight and rigid, right down to those dress shirts that do nothing to hide the muscle underneath. Sure, I never read the tenant's agreement. I have now. In fact, I've memorized it and I'm going to use it to my advantage while staying within the bounds of my contract. Is it my fault that those little decorative touches drive Charlie nuts? And who can resist purchasing a few vulgar gnomes to enhance the landscape?

This was a very interesting book and i love the way Author Ashley Erin brought these characters together. Its a fun romance and definitely a great book to bring with you to the beach. I would have liked a fewer inner monologues, and more verbal conversations, but this could be a style of the Authors. I personally felt that there was something more to Charlie than his strict regiment, and I wanted a bit more background on Evie, but overall, they are well rounded characters and fun to watch them throughout the book. i can see lots of potential from the Author and curious to see what else she's written.

The narration was okay, but I would've liked a little more distinct voices between the main characters. And this is a personal preference, but i do prefer a Reader voice, and then when talking, that is when the Male voice or female voice happens. The inner monologues took on the same 'voice' as the main characters so i found it a bit distracting and it pulled away from the story at times.

Picture this - I’m ready to win back the love of my life, and I’m going big this time. We’re talking boom box, sing her name in the rain, let the whole damn neighborhood know I'm good and ready this time around. After all, if you're going to grand gesture the ever-loving hell out of a second chance, you need to pull out all the stops. There’s only one little problem. My college girlfriend isn't the one who shows up when I play my "I'll do anything to win you back" tune. The woman who flings open the second-floor window tells me my ex doesn’t live here anymore.

Time and time again, Lauren Blakely delivers a wonderful story telling romance that has you feeling like you're snuggled up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa. All those good feels are reasons i continue to read LB's books.

To start off, don't judge a book by its cover, or title. The title isn't what you think, but more adorably the references it has throughout the book. If you love 80s and 90s pop culture movies, then this is it. Right here. You'll be taken back in time, and smile from ear to ear with each reference. I loved the adorableness of this book, and i wish there were 2-3 Epilogues like LB usually has. We'll have to settle with just the 1 Epilogue.

I love Andi Arndt's narration for LB's books, and i enjoyed Joe Arden's narration as well for this specific character.

I'll say this about Christian - he made one hell of a first impression. When I first saw the strapping man, he was doing handstands naked on a dock along the canal. His crown jewels were far more entertaining than anything else I'd seen on the boat tour, so I did what any curious woman would do - I took his photo.

This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS, and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it's not true love. It's a bun in the oven, and I'm not afraid to hit up my sex-on-a-stick coworker to do the job. Ryder is gorgeous, witty, and wild - and he's also a notorious commitmentphobe. When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

This is my first Amy Daws book. I was a bit hesitant due to all the raving 5star reviews, but I really did enjoy this story. I suspect if I read the book over listening to it, It may have turned into a 5star book rather than 4stars. For me, narration really does effect the overall experience of a book. Dont get me wrong, EM and TH still did a fantastic job. There were probably just a few minor tones/feelings i would've felt differently if I had read those lines.

If you're looking for an easy going, and fun beachy read that'll make you smile and probably be happy to add to your collection, I'd recommend this book for sure.

I'm a big fan and follower of Anna Hackett and i think she has the perfect blend of Action packed story with Romance. This seems to be one of the few books in the Series where we also have a bit of Mystery involved. Lots of fun, lots of love for this pairing.

Vivienne Leheny does such an amazing job narrating. She's given each character their own voice. And there are a lot of characters! Such a fun listen!!

As the team’s publicist, I need a football player to be the face of our charity calendar, and Jones Beckett needs a savvy PR woman to manage his new sponsorship deal. A simple give and take, and I’m sure I’ll have no problem following my iron-clad rule - don’t date a player. And never ever fall for one. No matter how charming, big-hearted, and devilishly clever the man is. But you know what they say about best laid plans.... I'm still fairly new to Lauren Blakely. I have discovered that so far, the 3 books (including this one) have all been feel good books with HEA's. I know now that when i need this dose of goodness, i'll come back to LB. I really liked the characters. At times, there is a slight lull in the book where LB gets just slightly wordy, but not enough to deter me away from listening. The narrators did an amazing job. I can see why they are the popular and favoured by many.
