For Susan Green, messy emotions don’t fit into the equation of her perfectly ordered life. She has a flat that is ideal for one, a job that suits her passion for logic, and an “interpersonal arrangement” that provides cultural and other more intimate benefits. But suddenly confronted with the loss of her mother and the news that she is about to become a mother herself, Susan’s greatest fear is realized. She is losing control.
Adorable story, AMAZING Narration.

Stick with it- it does get better!
This was the first Audible book I’ve ever purchased that I wanted to quit. Reese’s Book Club picks haven’t let me down before so I kept pushing, and it did get better. But I found myself playing it just to get through the story in the middle section. It really starts to pick up in the last third of the book and then I really was interested. I think the difficulty lies in relating to the main character. She is such a rigid, cold woman that it’s hard to relate to her at all until she starts to warm up a bit.
