Christmas has arrived in sleepy McGill, Georgia, but holiday cheer can't keep temperamental Stella Reid from swinging a rolling pin at anyone who crosses her bad side. This season, there are plenty. First, an anonymous grinch vandalizes a celebrated nativity display. Far worse, the scandalous Prissy Carr is found dead in an alley behind a tavern. With police puzzled over the murder, Stella decides to stir the local gossip pot for clues on the culprit's identity, and it turns out that Prissy held a prominent spot on the naughty list.

I don't understand why you would have Mac, their CO, always yelling. He did talk in a normal voice throughout the entire story. Why? CO's are not always yelling. You have him yelling at his men all the time & even telling at civilians as well. Why?

This is one of the stupidest books I've ever listened to. The aunt, Lise, is an idiot & has no backbone. Her niece, Ariel & the 18 year old boyfriend, Shadow are idiots as well. Pay $10K for a car used for a suicide, that reeks of dead body? Shadow the biggest idiot of all... 'Tire's flat, what do we do now?' 'I don't know how to change a tire.' This book is too slow & too stupid to finish. Good luck if you choose this one. Bye, Bye!
