Captive of the Bear Clan by Liv Brywood
This story starts with Minnie 21st birthday even though she’s not the popular in coven and actually can’t wield her magic the coven will have any excuse to throw a party.
While there she meets Kaval her bff bear shifter that isn’t welcomed because witches and shifters don’t get on.
Minnie has secretly been in love with Kaval Draven and Stone for a long time but with the unrest between witches and shifters and the fact she’s in love with three people Minnie never thought she’d actually have a chance with any of them.
At the party Minnie’s bff Rebecca tries to flirt with Kaval and sets of a strong witch fight that Minnie never thought she’d be able to pull off but because she’s unleashed her potential power three powerful evil witches want her power.
There’s a lot of secret training in woods and eventually naughty bear loving one on one and also all three.
Enjoyed the story and the Minnie finding her inner power but felt at times a bit slow for me that said looking for to seeing if any more RH storyline are developed by one of my favourite shifter writers
This is my first Meghan Kelly narrated book but I do like her voice and especially her differences between the boys in Minnie’s harem

Book 2 of Fractured Connections Series
This book begins right after the first book with Brandon and Harmony doing there friendship/dating dance.
Harmony is a widow and after her husband died she went on autopilot for a while but now she’s trying to date with little success.
Brendon was harmony’s husbands bff until one day at a traffic lights everything changed. He still struggles with what happened and after Harmony started dating Brendon has been struggling with his feelings.
This book has such heartbreaking moments especially between Harmony and Brendon after they get together and try find out what they mean to each other.
This is first honest book I’ve read about heartbreak from losing a spouse and bff.
I absolutely love this series and the narrators are amazing. I love the duo of male and female voice but would have loved if they had narrated together each taking separate male/female voice instead of each taking a chapter but still Carrie Ann Ryan really has great taste in narrators.
Can’t wait for more.

Book 3.5 of the Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs Bonus book by Carrie Ann Ryan
Kaylee is a artist that own and runs Brushes with Lushes where all the ladies is this series go to paint while drinking wine.
We’ve been teased for books now about Landon and Kaylee’s relationship but not a lot of depth to it.
You actually don’t know much about Kaylee until this book, she’s a rich kid that decided she didn’t want a loveless cheating husband, so she left and went with her dream and became an artist.
Absolutely love that Kaylee is so much more then the timid artist that you come to know so far in series. She’s sassy and funny and I love when she phones Landon and demands he take her for sushi.
Gutted this isn’t a longer book because I was loving the story so much.
I loved this book for much I got the audiobook more which was even better then ebook. Absolutely love Joe Arden
Great story and HEA.

Book one Breaking Without You in Fractured Connections Series by Carrie Ann Ryan
This book starts with all the Knights sisters and Connolly’s brothers attending there friends Alison funeral after she committed suicide without a note saying why.
Cameron is an adopted Connolly like his twin brother Aiden and other adopted brother Brandon but after his adoptive mum and dad died and his birth mother called begging for help he discovers another brother called Dillion how now only 18.
Cameron tried to call his brothers to say they had a younger brother but non of his brothers answered his calls so his stopped calling so a lot of time and distance caused a massive friction between everyone.
Violet is Mace’s sister from Fallen Ink (Montgomery Ink Colorado Springs Series)
This book starts with Violets Harmony and Sienna attending there bff funeral and meeting up with the Connolly’s especially Cameron Violet’s ex.
There’s massive backstory and a lot of history between most of the characters but mostly Violet and Cameron and how they broke up but also how they develop their new relationship and not repeat old mistakes.
I really loved that this was all about relationships between brothers sisters friends and parents not too much drama and a great second chance story.
I absolutely loved two narrators but I thought they would read the line differently. They each took different chapters but I feel it would have be awesome for them to read male and female lines separately but still really enjoyed this audiobook CAR picks such great narrators.

Jagged Ink
I found this really hard to rate and review. On one hand I absolutely love CAR and most of her books I loved the way the book was written and included very well into the current series but I just didn’t jell well when I read Carter and Roxi, even though I’ve been waiting to find out what all drama between them was all about.
I know not every relationship is easy and needs working at but I just felt that it was all unnecessary because of there lack of there communication and they hurt each other and there family because of something as simple as them not wanting to stop working and talk to each other.
But I love CAR so I listen to audible and found this book so much more enjoyable and absolutely love Joe Arden. I did give the ebook 3 stars but even with enjoying the audiobook more I still didn’t jell completely so I ungraded it to 4 stars.
I could of given 5 stars just because I love this author but I really didn’t enjoy this book like all the others and couldn’t rate dishonestly.

Book 3 of Whisper Horse Series by Nancy Herkness
Hannah is the new vet at Sanctuary veterinary hospital but she’s got secrets and running from a dark past.
Adam is running also from his drunken past but when Matt turns up in Sanctuary he has to face his past mistakes and start making a future for him and his son.
I absolutely love this series especially with it centred around Whisper Horses and now ponies.
Adam has a dog that was accidentally shot and needed veterinary treatment, that’s when he meets Hannah the new vet and they hit it off straight away. Adam convinces Hannah to have Matt a surly teenager for the day to show him what value a pet has to a person life after need let Trace (Adams dog) escape into the woods and was shot by hunters.
Really enjoyed this book as a audible the narrator fully covers every accent well and really draws you into story.
Looking forward to more in series

Final book in the Talon Pack series by Carrie Ann Ryan.
Max is a solider in the Talon Pack but not part of the hierarchy. Through the years of fighting Max loss his arm and a little bit of his soul.
After years of fighting and trying to make something of his dysfunctional pack.
Things start to look up when things start to get back to normal and family’s start to have babies which haven’t happened for centuries.
Cheyenne has been friends with Talon Pack for a long time and has been eyeing Max but they have been passing each other in the night as such but Max wolf didn’t recognise Cheyenne as his mate.
After Cheyenne was attack by Blade Max’s wolf woke up and noticed her as his mate.
I did feel this was a bit slow for me and I had to push myself through first part of the book but once Cheyenne was attacked and max realised they were mates.
The main battle was really good but felt Blade got killed too easily but I did like the whole Supreme Alpha thing.
I definitely enjoyed this book more as a audible audiobook especially with the very sexy narrator Aiden Snow. I usually don’t like male voice but Carrie Ann Ryan choices for narrator are fantastic.
Shame we won’t find out more about next generation of the Talon

Book 1 of Elements of Five From Breath and Ruin by Carrie Anne Ryan.
I’ve got to admit I struggled getting into this book as a ebook but then started the audiobook and couldn’t turn it off. I devoured the first 16 chapters in no time.
Lyric is a just about to go to college kid that still hasn’t figured out what she wants to do with her life but everyone around her seems to have there life sorted.
Lyric has been having horrible nightmares that feel like they are trying to tell her something but she just misses the mark.
Lyric bumps into her old school friend that suggests they go on a walk in mountains but after an accident Lyric becomes aware of other worldly beings and that her crush Rhodes and his sister Rosamond aren’t what she thought and there telling Lyric she is the lost Spirit Priestess that could unite the other Kingdoms.
A lot goes on in this book with fighting other wielders people and trying to get to Rosamond but losing people on way but also trying to introduce a new world sand series is difficult.
I did feel at time like Lyric was becoming annoying with always explaining she didn’t know what was going on or that she didn’t know how to use her magic or be useful but the ending of this book got very interesting and developed really quickly. I was a little disappointed with ending with Lyric but absolutely gutted over her bff Braelynn but hopefully that becomes very interesting in next book.
Differently a winner but get the feeling next books in series are better.

Loch is the typical older brother over protective and takes on a lot of responsibilities.
Ainsley is Loch BFF and has had a unrequited love for him for years until thing heat up between them and they both realise there’s more to them then friendship.
I really like that when things heat up between Loch and Ainsley they don’t just come together and fall into a happy pattern. They struggle with the change and Loch try’s to fix things but messes it up more between them.
I loved that Loch and Ainsley thought of Misty and she was always the main important fact between them.
I love this big hearted family and how close everyone is, great story and HEA.
I do think that the audio was better than reading book. The narrator Maxine Mitchell was ace and loved her expression of each character.

Book 2 of the Montgomery Ink Colorado Springs series by Carrie Ann Ryan.
This book is based around Thea Montgomery and Dimitri.
Thea own a bakery in Colorado Springs and Dimitri is a maths teacher, they were friends until Dimitri divorce his wife molly and Thea BF after that the friendship between Thea and Dimitri became weird because Molly sort of played sides but Thea hadn’t really realised this until it was way too late.
Thea and Dimitri reconnected and sparks ignited.
This book is a very slow burner and takes a lot of time building the relationship and friendship between them. I also love that all the other previous characters come out for game night and your introduced more to other siblings like the Carrs Dimitri brothers and sister.
I’ve got to admit I enjoyed this book more as a audible then when I read it. Joe Arden wasn’t a favourite at start but I’m definitely liking his narrative voice especially way he does the guys voices.
Love the spin offs to Montgomery ink but it’s getting harder to keep track with so many characters being introduced into series.
Great epilogue and HEA.
