Well the story was interesting but the writing was so-so. I can't really describe it, like they are still learning to write and getting better day by day?

Kind of like watching a really good movie but some of it makes you cringe. A little more gory than i am used to, but a great book nonetheless.

Is it possible to meet your soulmate at only eight years old? No way. It can't be her. But it is. After all these years.... Getting kissed by that city-boy douche-bag is Rachel Sawyer. My best friend and secret love when I was just a boy. The only girl who could ever hold my interest past a minute. Look at him, all sleek and done up like some woman. In Atlanta, Georgia, the Cocker Brothers have certainly earned their nickname - The Cocky Brothers. Their daddy taught them to be real men. They have one thing in common: arrogance. Jake Cocker's younger brother Jeremy has just enlisted in the Marines, leaving him without a roommate. Jake wasn't aiming to live with a woman, but when a curvy, newly single, smart-ass who's at the end of her rope answers his ad, he changes his mind right quick, but mostly out of pity. Is Drew Charles different enough to tame a wild heart like Jake's?

A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland. The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.

Wiping out humanity is his number one objective - until he meets her. Aramus has no patience or sympathy for the excuses humanity uses to hunt cyborgs down and eradicate them. He's put up with too much at their hands to ever forgive and forget. But all that changes when he rescues a fragile human doctor who refuses to see him as a machine. She teaches him that perhaps not all emotions are a weakness and that love can make even a cynical cyborg like him stronger. And for those who'd mock his change of view or threaten his female? Go ahead. His knuckles could use some exercise.
