The Sun Is Also a Star
- By: Nicola Yoon
- Narrated by: Bahni Turpin, Raymond Lee, Dominic Hoffman
- Length: 8 hrs and 4 mins
I'm a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. I'm definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is 12 hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him won't be my story.
This was cute but flawed

That book was just loaded with mini stories! I enjoyed it wholeheartedly! It is so not cliche. Nicola Yoon is on my list of favorite writers now.
Lola and the Boy Next Door
- By: Stephanie Perkins
- Narrated by: Shannon McManus
- Length: 8 hrs and 59 mins
For budding costume designer Lola Nolan, the more outrageous, the outfit - more sparkly, more fun, more wild - the better. But even though Lola's style is outrageous, she's a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins move back into the house next door.
I love Lola and Cricket!

Same story, different tittle!!!!
Would you try another book from Stephanie Perkins and/or Shannon McManus?
Stephanie Perkins, I seriously don't know. Shannon, yes!
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
This book has the exact same cliche kinda story line as Anna and the french kiss. The same concept of being in a relationship but really deep down inside you want someone else. Nothing surprised me. It was a very predictable story. A waste of time in my opinion.
