Hank had a very difficult life, he had to take care of his family especially his mother, his work was everything. he didn't have time for relationships or even to date.. everything consumed his life and mind but soon something will happen that he will have to refocus his priorities and decide if he wants to take charge of his personal life again..

so many things happened for these two to finally lower their walls and start to love again.. Hanks has so many issues and Cat has a secret that she is not so entirely sure she wants to share.. her life has changed so much after finding out some news and now she has to decide if she is willing to let Hank In or keep walking her life alone..

in Worth the trouble we get to see other characters that we met before David and Vivi also we get to learn more about Jackson story and many other great characters that made this story more enjoyable..

Repeat, was a very pleasant surprise, I really like the story the characters everything was great and made this story very enjoyable.

Clem was a 24 year old, something bad happened to her that she doesn't know anything or anybody anymore. she is trying to build her life and memories but some people are not making this easy for her, someone is trying to sabotage her life, her future, and even her love.. but luckily Clem has many people around that won't stop to make her feel safe again.

Ed was a tattoo artist he had his own business and was trying to forget his past or better say a past relationship that left him broken.
He didn't want to know anything about her anymore, he was trying to rebuild his life, dating and going out with other people searching for what he lost.. but life had other plans for him, whomever, he lost it would come back and this time is to stay forever.

I love Clem and Ed they both really were an amazing couple .. it took them so much time to finally lower their walls especially for Ed but since the very beginning you could feel how Ed was very attracted and at the same time confused over Clem, he didn't know what to do, what to believe, and at the same time he didn't want to leave her.. he was very protective about her and you could feel how much he love her no matter what..

Clem was an awesome character, she was strong and good, she was kind with everybody but was trying to find a way to build more confidence. Clem was in awe since the very first moments she saw Ed. she was strong, smart and at the same time funny.

Repeat had the exact amount of angst, love, laugh and also great secondary characters that supported this amazing story..

My first book narrated by Kate Rudd and I'm already becoming her fan.. I love her work how she made us feel so much with her voice making the story and the characters deeper, bringing them alive and making us feel all these experiences and feelings the characters were going through.. really like her work a lot..

.....................................................................

This was my first book by Jamie Beck and it was a very pleasant surprise!! i was literally hooked since the very first minutes of the book, I didn't want to put it down and it made me want to continue the series and know more about the other characters...

This is the story of Vivi and David.. two souls destiny to be together after knowing each other for as long as they even remember..

Vivi didn't have a normal childhood, she has some past memories that keep making her feel like she had something to do with her past sadness. but life will bring her so much love and a family that will take her and take care of her as one of their own..Vivi was in love with him since she was just a kid but life and circumstances didn't make this attraction easy.. to many things family and morals wherein the middle making their love almost impossible or a little more harder than she would ever want.

“Even in the crisp night air, being near her felt like standing under the sun. Warmth seeped from her body and flowed along the ground, like a river of heat seeking to penetrate the frozen places inside his chest.”

David is a very handsome guy who is very successful and has everything that he needed.. but life was about to teach him things that maybe will make him build walls around his heart.. he was hurt by someone who he loved so much and now he doesn't know if he is ready or if he could ever trust again.. there is only one person for him, now he has to release this before he loses her forever..

“Accidents happen. Mistakes were made. The only way to move forward was through forgiveness and acceptance—of others and one’s self.”

The love between David and Vivi is beautiful, I really love how much David care for her in a way that is so protective even if he doesn't want to admit this at first but he is always in charge and taking care of what he loves and care.. the chemistry is very strong between this two.. you could feel them everytime they were in the same room.. no matter how much they try to pretend we always could feel the need and the attraction for eachother.. this definitely one of the things that I love about their love.

“I love you,” he said. “I love you more,” she replied, and kissed his neck just behind the ear. “No, Vivi. I love you most.”

there were so many other great characters supporting these amazing story like Cat, Hank, and Jackson that I'm so eager to know more about them in the next books of this amazing series..

so many great things to say about this story.. i really recommended..

............................................

Sweet addiction is my first book by J.Daniels.. it was good, sexy, light and funny!! definitely a great read for the Holidays..

Dylan loves to bake, her life revolves about wedding cakes and pastry that make her feel happy and content with her life, but soon everything will change, after delivering a cake and attending to her ex-wedding life will never be the same, bringing her things she wasn't expecting or even wanting..

"I want you, Reese. Just you, and not at all in the stupid casual .. way. I want everything. Sleepovers and sex in beds. All kinds of beds. Yours, mine, whoever's."

Resse is handsome and successful, he is known for not having any serious relationship, his life was his business and nothing else.. he wasn't looking for anything or anyone but soon things will change so drastically that he won't even see her coming..

“You make me want different things, things I’ve never wanted before.”

Dylan and Resse kept fighting their feelings the whole book, they kept lying to themselves because they were so afraid to say what they really felt!! they didn't want to lose each other or even lose what they have so they kept lying and pretending for months until things went south and they no longer were able to continue with this farce..

“No, we’re not a couple. We’re monogamously casual.”

One of the things that I love about the story is how everybody around Dylan and Resse was so aware of how much they love each other, about their feelings and needs but they kept denying them until the end.. until there were no more lies to say ..

"One hundred and thirty two days. That’s how long I’ve loved you."

There're so many great secondary characters that complement this story bringing so much to the main characters and even making it more enjoyable..

Good story, good characters, I really enjoyed this book!

the narrations by Andrew and Jennifer were great!! i really enjoy them so much, they really brought the characters to life and made the story more enjoyable...

Birthday girl is the story of Jordan, a very strong heroine that was alone in life, her parents weren't in the picture, didn't care that much about her and she had to survive, working and moving all around..

Jordan is living a very hard life as she doesn't have a real place to stay, her only hope is to follow her "boyfriend" Cole so they can save money and finally rent a place on their own.. but life hasn't prepared her for all these challenges, sooner or later she will have to make a decision stay or leave before things start to collapse because she didn't count her heart was about to get in the middle of her life plans..

"You make my heart pound so hard it hurts, Jordan. You, your mouth, and who you are, it all makes me want to touch you. It makes me not want to stop this.”

Pike wasn't looking for anything new in his life, he was a single dad with an ex that still was giving him a hard time and a son that didn't much appreciate him, thanks to some past drama. life has a funny way to show us what we're lacking and bring us things that will help us but also break us, Pike didn't know things in his life were about to change so drastically now is a matter to him if he is willing to embrace this changes or continue living a life full of emptiness and lies..

"I know everything we’re doing is wrong, and I don’t know how I’m going to explain this to anyone, but right here—right now—I don’t want to be anywhere else. I wish I could die as happy as I am right now."

I really love, Pike and Jordan. Jordan really was a very mature heroine, life and circumstances made her that way and I believe that made it more easy for Pike to fall in love with her.. Jordan had mature so fast due to her past situations and her lack of family.. making her grow even faster than her own age... whenever she was around Pike i could never saw any difference between them.. on the contrary for me they were perfect..

“Pike is proof that we learn when we’re forced to and maturity is more the result of experience than age,”

Pike was kind of stubborn and try to always put walls and excuses between them, it was understandable his fears and doubts but at the end, love is what conquers everything and sooner or later all his excuses meant nothing when they finally realize there was no escaping from his feelings and emotions..

“I hope you love me, because I love you like crazy, and I’m going to want you the rest of my life. I tried to stay away because I thought it was the right thing, but I can’t. I need you, and I love you. This doesn’t happen twice, and I’m not going to be stupid again. I promise.”

Overall it was a good story, great characters, really love my first book by Penelope Douglas.

.....................................................
This was my first book by Helen Hoang and I really enjoy it! not only was very different from what I've read but also the writing and the characters where so great and lovable.. especially Stella she was an amazing character..

“She had a disorder, but it didn’t define her. She was Stella. She was a unique person.”

Stella is a very special woman, she doesn't have any experiences with men, and somehow is afraid to approach them or even have anything intimate with them, she's desperate to change that but she doesn't know how or whom to trust with such an embarrassing situation.. until she meets him the only one who will understand her and will be able to help her conquer those fears..

“All the things that make you different make you perfect.”

Michael is working on a side job that is not really making him proud of but life and circumstances had put him into this dilemma. he needs to help his mother and family with a very hard situation and the only way he finds is to do what he does.. but he wasn't prepared to meet her and have a client like her.. someone who will change his life and game forever.. is just a matter of time for them to recognize each other and accept their destiny..

“I don't want just a night or a week or a month with you. I want you all the time. I like you better than calculus, and math is the only thing that unites the universe.”

This was a very nice book, Stellas characters was wonderfully written, I really could picture her having all these moments but at the same time she makes you love her because not only she wants to find someone who likes her and loves her from who she is but also she is fighting in silences to be accepted by him.. the one she loves.. “Michael was mint chocolate chip for her. She could try other flavors, but he’d always be her favorite.”

Together, Stella and Michael really made a great couple, both had their own issues to solve and also to conquer but both of them had the need to be with someone who really understood and accepted them for whom they were.. without judging just understanding..

“If you can’t stand being with a woman who’s more successful than you, then leave her alone. She’s better off without you. If you actually love her, then know the value of that love and make it a promise. That is the only thing she needs from you.”

looking forward to read more by Helen..

This was a great listen, it was quick and very enjoyable.

Wolf is the type of man that wants to be in control, somehow calculated and cold. he only cares about work and money or at least that's how he likes to be seeing .. he is handsome, arrogant and he also hides certain things from his life that made him this way.. but soon his plans will have to change if he wants to make the biggest deal of his life.

Emily is strong and confident, she works as an assistant for a very prestigious company, she is sassy and the only one who knows him and understand him better than anyone but also hates him from time to time. she wants to quit her job and start in another place where she can feel freer but is a matter of time that he won't let this to happen until he gets what he wants from her..

Great story, great characters Wolf was hot as hell and the chemistry between Wolf and Emily was palpable even if they spend the majority of time arguing about everything and nothing in particular but at the same time made their attraction feel even stronger..

Trails of broken wings, my second book by Sejal Badani and I have to say I love her words!!

Trails of broken wings was a rollercoaster of emotions, so many situations that really make my heart ache but at the same time, I love so many beautiful moments between the women of this story..

“Even though not every story ends with a happy ending or begins with tragedy, along the way there are moments of both. And those moments don’t define you or even break you— they are simply parts of the whole.”

This is the story of 4 women Trisha, Sonya, Marin, and Ranee each character living their pain in their own way. Suffering the consequences of an abusive father and husband, with their own stories to tell.. not knowing how to forgive or even share their own experiences.. each one suffers in silence hiding their hurt from the rest of the world and even to their own family...

“Never depend on another person for your happiness. If someone had the authority to give, then he or she had the authority to take away.”

Trail of broken wings, show us more about the culture and beliefs of these characters, sharing their pain and suffering during this times where they didn't feel like love was part of their life or even possible.. They couldn't believe in men anymore and try to stay so far away from any committed relationship. making it impossible for any men to approach or even understand them.

“The past, no matter how definite, does not have the power to determine the future.”

Sonya Character was my favorite, she is strong, intelligent and it always felt like she was the one willing to be more open to forgive and heal that pain that has been following them for years.. I love her story, how it ends and I love she gave her heart a chance..

“Sometimes, if you’re lucky, you meet a stranger who holds the piece of you that has been missing.”

another beautiful moment is Trisha's closer, so glad that at the end she was also receptive and open to finally give herself some time to heal but also to embrace the possibility to regain and conquer the love she had...

“But fear is a terrible thing. It paralyzes you with the expectation of the worst happening, never allowing room for something better, something that gives rather than takes away.”

it was a beautiful story, painful but necessary to understand what they went through..Trails of broken wings feels at time hard because the characters are very hurt and that made them be stubborn and hard to get close to.. their walls were so high that I thought they were never going to break.. but sooner or later we start to understand why it took them so much to finally forgive and move on..

great story and great characters.. looking forward to the next Sejal book.

The narration was great, Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose did a great job bringing Brents and Isabelle world to life.. I really felt so strong their emotions, their chemistry, their feelings.. love how they, made us feel all this with their voices.....

..................

Brent is the typical male who doesn't have any steady relationship and only likes to have one night stands, his bars and company are the most important thing for him, he doesn't want to know anything about his past or his father, something happened when he was young that left him wanting nothing than to be far away from that past.

Brent has to go home after a disturbing phone call, he doesn't know what to expect, he doesn't know if he wants to see him again after all the bad memories, all he cares is to take charge of that old family business and move on...

Isabelle had a very terrible experience a few years ago and she is ready to move on and she has been living in a beautiful place where has been able to regain her trust and confidence in life again. she wasn't looking for a relationship, her job was the only thing that kept her happy and makes her feel alive but nothing has prepared her for him.

Isabelle and Brent's, chemistry was very strong since the very beginning even if Brent keeps building lies and walls in his head as he has a lot of misinterpreted conception about Isabella. he thinks she is here for the money and the will, he doesn't know her, doesn't know her past and what she went through.. His father is the only one with answers, making their relationship look more than just a professional one.. but sooner or later he will know the truth and all the guilt will start to flow..

Overall: it was a great story and the characters were great, Isabelle is a great heroine, Brent is alpha controlling and a great lover but also stubborn and with a lot of walls and fears that will be hard to break apart, if he wants to build something permanent with Isabelle..
