This is not a satire, but it takes a satirical approach to shedding light upon a very dark subject: narcissistic abuse. It is intended to demonstrate to those struggling with codependency just how narcissists actually view them. By listening to their "play book", codependents should be able to recognize covert abuse and avoid its pernicious effects.

Seriously. I related from beginning to end. I have been on and off with my narc for about 18 years! I knew he was a narc after the first time I left him. Recently, I went deep into wtf is wrong with me to be delusional so long. I wish I was smart enough to know I was highly codependent and programmed since childhood to be this way through my narcissistic family. I may have even been borderline. I'm a fan of Sam Vaknin and I know how complex the psychology can be. This short audiobook is a great start for anyone to be bluntly validated that their personal experiences with their narc are REAL. I mean I wasted almost 20 yrs of my life on love FRAUD. I sincerely hope others don't let it get that far. As for myself, I'm trying to go grey rock while I get my power back. Good luck to anyone dealing with narc abuse. Meditation will help open your third eye. There's evidence to support this. I has helped me wake up again while there is still time to have peace and possibly REAL love.

Negative thoughts are like weeds that grow all the time without any nurturing since it’s in the human nature to think of negative consequences.

On the other hand, positive thinking about health, love, wealth, success are hard to come by, and like everything worth fighting in this life, they require a lot of nurture and care.

This audiobook plans to give you exactly what you need: the means to stay positive through constant affirmations designed to help improve oneself, change a bad behaviour, or channel the universe to attract good things in your life.

A few times. Not much, mind you, but enough to break even or have a little extra. I'm choosing to see these little wins as the universe is starting to listen, but not entirely sure I deserve such a win. I am definitely committing to sharing the wealth if it's a big jackpot. Other than that, my personal intentions are for my children's college. I am seriously believing intent is important. Simply praying to win the lotto is selfish.

So that said, I think these affirmations help in setting good intentions. I've won $60, $4, $30 consecutively (never playing more than $15 a game) since I began this affirmation. I mean it's enough for me to feel "lucky".

so it must be working. I'm currently using this audiobook to get my mind right after my husband's horrendous gaslighting. It's helping me by validating/reminding me in a way, that I'm smart enough to know my reality versus the history he's rewriting as he speaks.

I do plan on finding an IQ test and trying that out. I was able to hold my own in marriage counseling after several overly emotional sessions. I was basically presenting my side of the story and easily pointing out where my husband contradicts himself. I was, 'saying if this is like that, then how come he says/does this and that...' and the therapist was visibly impressed whereas previously I fell into the look like a crazy emo wife role I was triggered into. This is one of many affirmations I listen to repeatedly. I made sure to listen several times prior to review. I'm now an affirmation addict. I do feel its definitely a reliable therapy in that it allows you to override negative thinking, thoughts and fears. I definitely feel I'm getting my mind right!

I'm not sure this book can save my marriage at this point, but it was an excellent read. I laughed a couple times at just how common marital issues are. It makes me feel validated in that I'm only human with basic human needs and I can't be blamed nor blame myself for my shit marriage. Both individual need to look inward before being able to repair a marriage. Then there's the fake marriages; the ones that were never on solid ground where you need a serious case of amnesia to fall in love again. Well written book. Newlyweds should get this before marriage.

The best way I can describe how this helped me is that I was able to maintain a conversation without getting caught up in my narcissistic husband's deflection attempts. I was able to stay calm and bring focus back to what I was saying. I teared up a little, but no full blown emotional take over. Typically he deflects, I take the bait, I get frustrated and then start crying. I've heard the visualization 3x's and will listen to it daily. I look forward to becoming more assertive! It feels great!

Is this the way love is supposed to feel? Does the man you love assume the right to control how you live and behave? Have you given up important activities or people to keep him happy? Does he belittle your opinions, your feelings, or your accomplishments? Does he withdraw love, money, approval, or sex to punish you? If the questions here reveal a familiar pattern, you may be in love with a misogynist. In this superb self-help guide, Dr. Susan Forward helps you understand your man's destructive pattern and the part you play in it.

The practice of what is commonly known as hatha yoga is but one of eight branches of the body of knowledge that is yoga. Yoga is a sophisticated system of self-empowerment that is capable of harnessing and activating inner energies in such a way that your body and mind function at their optimal capacity. It is a means to create inner situations exactly the way you want them, turning you into the architect of your own joy. A yogi lives life in this expansive state, and in this transformative book Sadhguru tells the story of his own awakening.

I stumbled upon the author on you tube and found it extremely annoying when commercials would interrupt my listening experience. So instead of subscribing to block commercials, I purchased this book. Much of it is on you tube and repeated, however, I don't mind. I was able to speed the pace of the book a little and will probably listen to it again soon. I find Sadhguru to be very inspirational. It's not easy to turn inward. I still lash out sometimes or road rage, but I'm more aware and am trying to catch myself at least. Meditation and yoga DO help, U just need to do them more.
