Jane’s days at a Midwest insurance company are perfectly ordinary. She blends in well, unremarkably pretty and extra efficient. She’s just the kind of woman middle manager Steven Hepsworth likes - meek, insecure, and willing to defer to a man. No one has any idea who Jane really is. Least of all Steven. But plain Jane is hiding something. Nothing can distract Jane from going straight for his heart: allowing herself to be seduced into Steven’s bed, to insinuate herself into his career and his family, and to expose all his dirty secrets. So she can take it all away. Just as he did to her.

In her memoir, a work of deep reflection and mesmerizing storytelling, Michelle Obama invites listeners into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her - from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work to her time spent at the world's most famous address. With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it - in her own words and on her own terms.

Fan-adored author Joanne Fluke always satisfies the cravings of listeners who like their mysteries served with a sugary sweet confection. Hannah Swensen, like most women in Lake Eden, Minnesota, is not a fan of Ronni Ward - the man-stealing gym bunny. So when Ronni turns up lifeless in a Jacuzzi - accompanied by one of Hannah's cream puffs - the long list of suspects begins with Hannah.

This book is a light listen during these crazy times, but why on earth are they reading recipes? I do not want to hear add 3 eggs to 1 cup of flour, etc. Not necessary for the book at all. Makes me turn the book off every time until I am somewhere that I can skip ahead.

What would have made An Unattractive Vampire better?

The story is not good at all.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure.

How could the performance have been better?

The performance was ok, the story was just not good.

Any additional comments?

All the reviews I read said it was GREAT and SO FUNNY, but I have not laughed ONCE. I listen to 100s of books on audible. I rarely write a review, but I am struggling to finish this book and wanted to give a different opinion.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

it was OK.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Narration was great, but the story was not great.

What does Santino Fontana bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Just not a fan.

Could you see You being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No.

Any additional comments?

I am not a prude and listen to 6 - 10 books a month and read several more. However, this story was not a scary story as much as a perverted story. I love scary stories. If you are looking for another gone girl, this is not it. I listened to the entire book because the narration was great but I would not recommend to my friends.

Have a blog? Doesn't it suck to put your heart and soul into your blog only to make no money from it? Wouldn't it be nice even to make enough to cover hosting costs and maybe a little more on the side? Don't worry, you can, but only if you read this book and start now. Attention readers: I've updated my book with brand new content and some great resources - be sure to check it out for more great tips and ideas!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Unorganized and random information at best.

What was most disappointing about Sarah Goldberg’s story?

Not a story, but really disappointing.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

A new narrator. Way too many mispronounced words. Accent made it a really hard listen. Seemed like she was reading this for the first time.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from How to Make Money Blogging?

All of it.

Any additional comments?

This is a very short book and I only lasted about half way. I love audible and listen to books EVERY DAY but rarely write a review. This one was really bad.

Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret - something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive....
