I am actively monitoring the activities of the DEM Government in Exile. For those that are not, much of this may come as a shock. Much of what is in this book is a validation of information that has been available but there is some new and interesting information, the best of which, in my opinion, is the workings of the government in exile in Kalorama. If you want to know what is going on, read this.

What disappointed you about The Pillars of Creation?

59 chapters of build up for a 1 chapter 'Meh' ending.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Imagine Marvin the Manic Depressive Robot reading for Audible.

Any additional comments?

Goodkind has offered us a poor man's Atlas Shrugged (if you value it by the word). I am a fan of the idea but there is little subtlety to the presentation. I will keep reading the series. I am the pig, committed.
