The choices we make in our middle years contribute to the quality of the rest of our lives. Those that served us well in the first half of life may not work for us in the second. Dr. Hardin, founder and director of Midlife Consulting Services, wove together research, personal experiences, stories, and exercises to show how to live and age well.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it uplifting. As I'm approaching this era in my own life, I could relate to many of the stories included in this book. It made me look at my own life and see what I could do to perhaps enhance it, not only for myself but those around me. I have out lived many of my own family, but I would like to age with grace and continue to help those around me. I think I may have found the perfect guide to help me accomplish just that. Very interesting and easy to listen too .

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it very entertaining. Big city girl moves to small town to run the Coffee Shop her birth mother left her. Sounds simple enough, but it's not. A big box store wants to come to town and Zion's mother was standing in their way before she was murdered, just a coincidences? Can Zion and her neighbour, the ex-cop solve the mystery before anyone else gets hurt. With this fun cast it doesn't really matter as long as you can listen along as they try. It has it all, suspense, humour, danger and a touch of romance. Once again author and narrator make an awesome team. Looking forward to listening to book 2.

Jason Hawk only came to his father's funeral to spit on his grave. That was the best the old man deserved from the bastard son he'd never given a damn about. The son whose plan for revenge had now been derailed by Aaron Hawk's death. Or had it? Kendall Chase was Aaron Hawk's smart and efficient executive assistant, and had come to know a side of the old man that few saw. But convincing Jason there had been more to his father, more to his whole life's story than Jason knew, wasn't easy. He was as tough as the father he hated. And more compelling than any man she'd ever met.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher and found it very entertaining. A magic book from the past appears in the present to cause chaos in one man's life. This is the first book in a trilogy, it's hard to turn it off with interesting characters and fast moving plot plus some romance and humour. I'm definitely curious about book two and can't wait to listen to it.

The second book in this series is as good as the first as we follow the tale of the Guardians and their Watchers. The spell that turned the Witches into Guardians must be completed, but the Dark doesn't want that happening. Again the two narrators enhances the experience, combined the fast paced plot and great characters, makes this is a great listen. Looking forward to book three.

A very average Avery Nolan finds herself in misadventures after her world is turned upside down. The characters are well written and intriguing in this tale of combining two very different worlds. This series has something for everyone, suspense, drama, mystery, humour and a touch of romance. This combination of author and narrator creates pure enjoyment. I'm just hoping that someday more adventures will be added for Avery and her friends.
