I need a movie ASAP. This author has ruined me for any other zombie books every single book has been like eating only the finest chocolates ( I love chocolate) so sad it’s over but I’m so glade it’s over 😜 talk about a roller coaster. I’ll be listening and re listening to this series for a long time to come. Great job too the authors and a huge applause to Micheal for continuing greatness.

With me because I didn’t enjoy this book and by the time it came to its conclusion I thought perhaps I’d fallen asleep at some point during the course of the 3 days it took me to finish the audio (I did not btw). At last I looked at the other reviews and I see similar disappointment. Although Granuele (spelling of her name ?) got on my nerves I really enjoyed all the other previous books in the series. I was so excited to read this book I’ve waited so long for. Not for sure if it’s worth me completing any other series if they’ll just end in duds.

Humanity's most fearsome enemy is no longer death. Alpha and Marsoc meet their match. Lurking in the bush is the dark shadow cast by the operators - a terrifying force every bit their equal in skill, ferocity, and sheer resolve...but utterly unconstrained by humanity, compassion, or brotherhood. Now, to complete their mission and save the world, the operators will have to pay with their lives, or their souls, or possibly both.

Yet again another fantastic book by a fantastic author read by a fantastic narrator. I spent time on the edge of my seat I spent time debating whether to stop the book and just turn it off because I cannot take the suspense anymore I spent time thinking my God will these people ever get a break. Hands-down this is my top series for ZA books.

Why in the world would you take book 4 or 5 and label it as book 7. I was confused and annoyed when I finally realized this book should have come earlier in the series. Plus books 5 and 6 should be only one book and 8 and 9 should be only one book. I've gotten up to book 6 (barely btw) just to be thrown back down the ladder. So as far as I'm concerned this series ended at book 6.

I saw the raving reviews for the book but yet I'd always pass it by,until I saw a movie trailer and purchased the book immediately. Well after reading the book and seeing the movies ( books are always better) I will not be returning for more.

From the Audie-nominated narrator of The Martian. In eleven years' time, a million members of an alien race will arrive at Earth. Years before they enter orbit, their approach will be announced by the flare of a thousand flames in the sky, their ships' huge engines burning hard to slow them from the vast speeds needed to cross interstellar space. These foreboding lights will shine in our night sky like new stars, getting ever brighter until they outshine even the sun, casting ominous shadows and banishing the night until they suddenly blink out.
