New York book editor Maris Matherly-Reed knows a best seller when she sees one - even if it is just a tantalizing partial manuscript submitted by a writer identified only as P.M.E., with the return address of an obscure island off the Georgia coast. Maris is intrigued enough to search for him.

I'm a fan of Sandra Brown and have read most of her books! I really like the way she went from past to present in Envy! I've listened to this book more than once. Love the narration! Was glad to see that Victor Slezak is narrating her new book!

In Truly Madly Guilty, Liane Moriarty takes on the foundations of our lives: marriage, sex, parenthood, and friendship. She shows how guilt can expose the fault lines in the most seemingly strong relationships, how what we don't say can be more powerful than what we do, and how sometimes it is the most innocent of moments that can do the greatest harm.

This might be a decent book, but I couldn't listen more than an hour. I returned it. Story seemed to be going nowhere, but I might have changed my mind about this if I could have tolerated the narrator. She drove me nuts!

The one That Got Away held my attention fine. At first I really didn't care for the narrator's voice, but it kind of grew on me. I gave it a 4 because while it wasn't hard to listen to the main character was, in one word, STUPID. The things she did...often completely incomprehensible to me. Of course, I've never been treated as she was so who knows.

Thoroughly enjoyed "The Sound of Glass". So much so that I'm writing a review. The voice of Merritt, Therese Plummer, was awesome!
The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a five was that I thought some of the event were far fetched. And it didn't really bother me in the contents of the story. It was fiction after all.
In whole, I loved the book!

I almost didn't buy this book because of the one review written when I purchased it. But I love Sandra Brown, and I'm glad I disregarded the review and gave the book a try. While I agree that it isn't her best novel, and that it was a little slow in the beginning, there were unexpected twists later in the book that kept me interested. I especially sympathized with Dodge and Caroline in the choices they made and lived with for 30 years. If you're a fan of Brown, I wouldn't call Tough Customer a wasted credit.
