lots of valuable information. Enjoyed the reading as well. Brandon read it with enthusiasm and fun. I got my husband to listen too and will plan to apply this system. Every time I go back to listening to Brandon l would get hyped up again to do the real estate house hacking and can't wait to take it from there. I just wish this is possible now. but this would take some careful planning.

Wow! Why didn't I read this kind of book when I was just starting out. Great advices and very detail information. I highly recommend it to everyone regardless of age. It's never too late to learn. I recommended it to my young daughter since she's new to the corporate world. My husband started listening to it so we'll be on the same page with our goals. I bought the book too because I wanted to take notes to follow all the pointers. Scott also did a great narration. He didn't bore me at all and really owned it like he's just talking to you. I'm glad I found this book. Thanks!

You live in your dream house, but there's no mortgage. No alarm clock, no boss, no bills. No claims on the day's time other than what you choose. It is making more money before breakfast than you made for an entire week at your last job. It is a crazy expensive car parked in your garage, a victorious symbol that your dreams no longer sleep in fantasies, but are awake with reality.

I loved the narration first of all. It was very realistic as if he was just talking to you. I loved the content too. It's exactly how i see my life and the things around it. I do feel about this with my work more and more as life went on, especially now because of management changes and their demands. I related a lot to this book. I let my 24y old daughter hear it while in my car so she won't go down the same spiral of working for a corporation and slave away. But being young and new to the corporate world, she found the book "depressing". It's a no bullshit book and can really fire you up. It's just telling you what it's already there but too naive or refusing to recognise the truth.

I found the topic interesting but I was very disappointed with how it was presented. I think that it dragged a lot, it didn't get to the point or maybe because it was going in a loop too long. The reading was annoyingly stretchy and was very repetitive. I wanted to give up listening after 2 to 3 chapters but I wanted to give it a chance. I decided to go on anyway to just know the content and tried to not pay attention to the delivery. Not to waste money, I finished the book during my driving times and was eager to finish it. I felt relieved and happy that I fell asleep on my couch during the last chapter.

Many things served as reminders to me and others are new learnings in approaching different situations in life. It made me a little sad that I finished the book. I have to start it again. Now I want to meet the Dalai Lama. The narration is not bad. The dialogues could have sound more realistic. But it's still good. sometimes I had some trouble understanding the Dalai Lama's stand-in voice when the voice maybe goes down and fades away or talks faster with the added accent. But it made me laugh hearing the chirpy laughter and could feel the happiness portrayed of the Dalai Lama.

Western philosophy is a vast intellectual tradition, the product of thousands of years of revolutionary thought built up by a rich collection of brilliant minds. But to understand the Western intellectual tradition is to get only half the story. The Eastern intellectual tradition has made just as important a contribution-and is also the product of thousands of years of cumulative thought by a distinct group of brilliant thinkers. Their ideas demonstrate wholly different ways of approaching and solving the same fundamental issues that concerned the West's greatest thinkers, such as . the existence of God; . the meaning of life; and. the nature of truth and reality. This epic and comprehensive 36-lecture examination of the East's most influential philosophers and thinkers-from a much-honored teacher and scholar-offers a thought-provoking look at the surprising connections and differences between East and West. By introducing you to the people-including The Buddha, Ashoka, Prince Shotoku, Confucius, and Gandhi-responsible for molding Asian philosophy and for giving birth to a wide variety of spiritual and ideological systems, it will strengthen your knowledge of cultures that play increasingly important roles in our globalized 21st-century world.

Great exercises to try. Not disappointed for my first book by this author. Pretty much agreed with everything she said. Before finishing, I started considering to communicate openly with my mother of my thoughts about our relationship, especially bad things. I want things to be cleaned and cleared up before it's too late to communicate. She's not an easy person to talk to, so maybe I'll put it in writing before discussing.
