Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now Simon is actually being blackmailed: If he doesn't play wingman for class clown Martin, his sexual identity will become everyone's business. Worse, the privacy of Blue, the pen name of the boy he's been emailing with, will be compromised.

So if you like really adorable high school love stories/ a little drama this is the perfect book for you to listen to. One of the best young-adult books I listened too/read this year and I completely understand why it was turned into a movie. If your on the fence about listening to this book, just do it!!!! It’s on the shorter side, and although there are emails being sent throughout this book, I didn’t find it annoying to listen to. Love Simon, which is probably the reason why the movie is called Love,Simon. You will fall in love with Simon, his friends and family and his potential love life. Thrust the hype and listen to this book before the movie comes out.

P.S. Loved the emotions that where conveyed while Michael Crouch read this amazing book.

Henry "Monty" Montague doesn't care that his roguish passions are far from suitable for the gentleman he was born to be. But as Monty embarks on his grand tour of Europe, his quests for pleasure and vice are in danger of coming to an end. Not only does his father expect him to take over the family's estate upon his return, but Monty is also nursing an impossible crush on his best friend and traveling companion, Percy.

First thing first, it was music to my ears listening to Christian Coulson narrate this book. If you are like me, you find it hard to pay attention to audiobooks; however, I found no such thing with this book. I love the cheekiness of the sister, but most of all, I love the dynamic of Percy and Monty(Henry). On a spiritual level, I feel like I would get my gang in as much trouble as Monty does. This book dives head first into topics from sexuality to abuse. Note, if you are homophobic, this is not the book for you. While listening to this book I felt immersed in Monty’s world and overall give this book an 4.75/5!!!!!
