OH My Goodness!!! Sarah - you are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your story, your passion and your support for the trans community. Tomorrow will be different! Change is happening, even in the current political environment we are making progress.

This book touched my heart on so many levels - your personal story - your love for Andy - your fight for the community at large and the life you lead today to help change minds through relationships. I've long held an interest in politics but the bitterness and hate spewed from both sides is such a struggle. You showed us how to be gracious but firm and have not given up! Thank you!

I did not vote for Obama in either election. My conservative white background would not allow me to see through the rhetoric although I might add I did not vote for either Republican candidate either.

Years later, and having gone through a great deal of personal transition I can see he was the right man for the job. Michelle’s book has contributed to my continuing education.

I am tired of the rhetoric that misleads people. I am growing and learning everyday. The stories Michelle tells are powerful and on point.

This remarkable memoir is the classic account of the transgender journey. It is all the more extraordinary because it is the life story of a figure who, it seemed, seamlessly and publicly charted a course through the English establishment - James Morris, outstanding journalist, historian and travel writer, famed for a peerless writing style. But all the while he was concealing a very different inner world: from the age of four he felt that, despite his body, he was really a girl.

Thank you for sharing your story Parker. I so appreciate your experiences as they they are similar to so many before you. The challenges, your doubts, your successes.

You shared some tough moments that were very moving. Your struggles at work saddened me. The point you made about trans people being visible is a valid one. Most people don’t know anyone who is trans. The more visible, the better chance we have as a community to move from tolerance to acceptance.

Thank you for your courage and leadership.
