Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

the narrator's voice was mostly the same for most of the characters. the story kept me interested but it wasn't a page turner. I liked the story overall and would recommend if it was a rainy day or the readed/ listener was looking for a low momentum book with twist tendencies.up

Best-selling author Bryan Burrough recently made a shocking discovery: The small town of Temple, Texas, where he had grown up, had harbored a dark secret. One of his high school classmates, Danny Corwin, was a vicious serial killer. In this chilling tale, Burrough raises important questions of whether serial killers can be recognized before they kill or rehabilitated after they do. It is also a story of Texas politics and power that led the good citizens of the town of Temple to enable a demon who was their worst nightmare.

I thought I detected a victim mentality promotion at the beginning but she straightened out the misconception at the end. The information is absolutely necessary and should be mandatory for all women before we make/ or fall for these mistakes. This is one of the best Self-Help books I've listened to Ever. I will b gifting it to a few family members and friend that I think need the message and are open to receiving it. I'm going in again...its more than a one time listen. Oh, I feel so empowered just listen to this book. now I have to act on the lessons learned. I am in a relationship trying 2 get OUT and Now that I've identified hi I will act accordingly. For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

I was actually over it during the first chapter I just have a problem not completing the read.
