Miller "Buck" Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed-up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided he's ready for a girlfriend. A real, nonbunny girlfriend to take on dates and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation. Miller thinks he's found that woman in his teammate's sister.

It took me a long time to get around to this book because I wasn’t sure I wanted to read Miller/Buck’s story. Boy was I wrong!!

In Pucked, Violet’s step-brother was portrayed as a bunny chasing, slow-witted goofball, but in this book the reformed manwhore is freakin adorable! He’s downright sweet in his attempts to navigate a monogamous relationship with Sunny and his misguided actions often have hilarious consequences. I loved the sibling banter between Violet & Miller, the interactions with the other guys & his pursuit of Sunny.

Joe Arden does another superb job narrating!

I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

Easy Love was a great start to the Boudreaux family series set in New Orleans. A hot & steamy love story with enough suspense and colorful characters to keep things interesting. This book also sets up much of the large family for future stories. Only criticism I have is Sebastian York not even attempting an accent while the female narrator did an accented male voice. Bad inconsistency.

Watching Dane & Neely rekindle their romance after a ten year separation was sweet & hot, their chemistry combustible and Danes devotion to his daughter downright swoon worthy. This heartwarming love story gave me all the feels and I hope there will be more in the series. Enjoyed the work of the narrators as well, both of them new to me.

I'm a lot of things - a screwup, a basket case, a flunky. But when I take a nanny job to be near my pregnant sister, I swear to myself I'll walk the straight and narrow, which means I cannot fall for my insanely hot boss. I don't want to be tempted by that rugged rancher. By his chiseled muscles or southern charm or the way he snuggles his kids at bedtime. Ethan Carter won't get the key to my heart, no matter how much I want him.

Stella Lane thinks math is the only thing that unites the universe. She comes up with algorithms to predict customer purchases - a job that has given her more money than she knows what to do with as well as way less experience in the dating department than the average 30-year-old. It doesn't help that she has Asperger's and that French kissing reminds her of a shark getting its teeth cleaned by pilot fish. She decides that she needs lots of practice - with a professional - which is why she hires escort Michael Phan.

Loved, loved, loved this book! One of my favorites of 2018. I loved & related to Stella’s awkwardness. Loved that Michael was attracted to her because of her differences. Loved the way he made sacrifices for his family. And I especially loved the way Stella & Michael both became better versions of themselves from their time together, while not depending on the other person to make them whole. Highly recommend the audio narrated by Carly Robins who did an marvelous job bringing all the characters to life.

Book two in the Dirty Games duet picks up right where book one left off. Fun, sexy playboy Weston King & refined ice queen Elizabeth Dyson are now married. As their sham relationship begins to turn real, the big secret he is hiding threatens to blow their tentative connection apart. The developing love story was hot & swoony, and the family elements sweet & touching. The scenes with his dad made me tear up & those with the deliciously manipulative Donovan, who’s always one step ahead of Weston, made me laugh out loud. The audiobook was incredible with the always sublime dream team of Jacob Morgan & Elena Wolfe voicing the characters.

My life was perfect - until a shocking tragedy pulled the rug out from underneath me. My children were left without a father. I was without a husband and a provider. Instead of wallowing in my grief, I buried myself in my work at Dovetail Enterprises. Landing the promotion as the CEO’s right hand was exactly what I needed. Getting saddled with Milo Huxley as an assistant is exactly the opposite. I can’t stand him. He’s arrogant, irresponsible, and out for my job. As if that’s not bad enough, he has to be devastatingly sexy, and have a posh English accent that makes me squirm on top of it all.
