The members of the all-female glamorous camping club are primarily seniors - active and adventurous, friendly and fun. But when he discovers Liliana Howe frolicking with the glamping grannies in a late-night skinny-dipping session, he fears he's in for a summer of trouble. The audio fades to the point you can barely hear it and then fades back to normal. It was very irritating. I’m sending it back.

Would you listen to Up Close and Dangerous again? Why?

No. I had a hard time with the muffled audio. The narrator was good, but the sound quality was very poor.

Any additional comments?

I can't really understand how the sound was such an issue and I'm afraid it's a way to encourage people to buy a more expensive issue.

Would you try another book from Carla Neggers and/or Carol Monda?

Not unless it's a different cast. The covers may be different, but nothing else is.

What could Carla Neggers have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

All her late books are the same. The characters are somewhat interesteing, but there is no plot. The stories go in the same circles and it's just not interesting anymore. I feel like I'm reading the same book over and over.

Have you listened to any of Carol Monda’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, She very good.

What character would you cut from Keeper's Reach?

All, I'd start over

Any additional comments?

Ms Neggers early books were fantastic, but she has lost her touch. This was just not worth the money.
