I'm sorry... Is there a fourth wall?
How can a room not have 4 walls?
Round rooms only have one? Huh. OK. Well... This book mostly has 4. But there are times where it vanishes.
The criticism of the author by the characters is great.
The humor is light - and - despite the easy pickings of the aliens' appearance, mostly more mature and thoughtful.

This, in opposition to the humor in the Pell series (kill the farm boy, and no country for old gnomes) which is juvenile and had me wincing more than laughing.

So yes. This is a great book. Ish. Since it's paglless. And recorded. And... Well.. Fine. Story. It a great story with good performances by the narrators.

I'm sorry... But this should be removed

I can't finish it.
It's... Unlistenable.
The audio is unedited, has the narrator cussing about making mistakes, huge breaks for page turns and breaths... Retakes after the original takes...

I got stuck on audible chapter 4... I can't keep going. >_<
I hope it gets better, but it needs edited. And removed from the store until it is.
This sucks, because the narrator's voices are decent, but the lack of editing is intolerable.
(had to also listen to it at 1.5x speed. He's SUPER slow)

It's so... Cute!

The narration is great. Switching between the two main characters is awesome.
Both parts are done really well, and the casting was perfect.
