i remember as a child listening to this story in school. I loved it then, and so many years later, love it still. I have long been interested in the story of the Boston Tea Party, and several years ago was lucky enough to visit Boston, and walk the same streets as Paul Revere, and see the places where our country was truly founded. Listening to this story again with fresh perspectives, and having walked those streets, made it seem so vibrant and alive.

Really enjoying this series. The narrator is probably the best I've ever heard and the reason that I came to the series. I had listened to other books that she had narrated and she is amazing. Really brings the characters to life. Overall, the story is entertaining and compelling with just enough mystery.

I wasn't sure I was going to like the diary format of this book, but it totally suited the story and the narration was fantastic. This was exactly what I was looking for. I always find it interesting in books when they talk about how they figure out how to survive. Not just fighting zombies, but actual day to day living, without our Creature Comforts. Love hearing how they fortify buildings and basically scavenge for food and supplies, that kind of thing. A lot of that in this book, a lot of humor, and really just great storytelling.
