Loved the story. I was engaged from the beginning to end. I thought Margaret was falling under the most tragic time in her life & thankfully found a place to go to be safe. The way the story unfolds reminds us of just how human we all are and should be kind to everyone always, no matter what.

A wonderful read!

I felt every emotion possible listening to this story. I could listen to this repeatedly. Sierra & Alex's story was entertaining but along with Mary Catherine's story was even more emotional. Life stories that tugged my heart strings .

I wanted to read something that would lift my spirits and this book did just that. The characters made me laugh & you cant help but feel for Anne during her ordeals. loved the narrator and had a great ending to my 2018 by listening to this. I recommend this book if your looking for a good easy listen that brings life lessons forward in a positive light.

The story wasn't great. It was ok and I'm trying to go through each chapter to rate it better but I just couldn't. The narration was not bad but I hope that this series gets better with each book, seeing that there are numerous books proceeding this one. I'm not able to get into the series.

The narration alone has me listening to this short story repeatedly! I wish there were more books narrated by Reilly Dolman! I've always loved the character of Jem aka James Carstairs aka brother zachariah but this voice behind the character has me stuck. Great read with a glimpse in to the Mortal Instruments series not known before this.

This was a book that really touched my heart. I had no problem enjoying it from beginning to end. Our lives need a break from the stress of our own realities so getting lost in this book was amazing. The sisters are all different and are brought back to granny Annie's place to somehow come together & make amends with each other. what unfolds during that time is played out in such a way that you laugh, cry, wonder and think how all of their differences really draw them together. Glad I stumbled upon this gem. I was thrilled to have both the kindle & audio to go between!! If all books came this way I'd got lots more books in!

sometimes you never know what you're going to get when you pick a book you know nothing about. While on spring break I chose this book to listen to while enduring a long car ride. I have to admit the characters were quick to love and easy to laugh with. Ashley & her family have been through so many hard times & are still enduring a heartbreaking reality. Knowing that during difficult times there is still good that falls upon them as they get together makes for a wonderful read/listen as we escape from our own realities, just for a short time. Andrew is a godsend to this family & is the peace that calms the storm..especially Ashley's!

so as I'm having a rough night getting to sleep I scroll through the list of books and stumble across this one. Not thinking it's going to be much of a story, I begin listening hoping it's something that will put me to sleep. Well quite the opposite! Anvil & Sarah are not at all doing what we would expect. It was a great story that had me wide awake & in need of more!

so the series is probably one I tried not to enjoy but the characters pull you in. I dislike the men who are controlling and bossy so I usually am turned off by those books and characters..This time though I have to admit you have to love them! even though the story is similar to another of hers, Aurora does a fabulous job of making each story different and the characters have their own way about them that just do what a story needs to keep us drawn in. Hot and touching as well. I am on to the next!

A happy ending to a love story

the conclusion between the 2 main characters story was unknowing, sad, heart warming and perfectly told. I wish it wouldn't and but I thoroughly enjoyed this story as it unfolded.
