Hoping to promote the Glass Dolphin antiques shop, co-owners Arabella Carpenter and Emily Garland agree to sponsor a hole in one contest at a charity golf tournament. The publicity turns out to be anything but positive, however, when Arabella’s errant tee shot lands in the woods next to a corpse. They soon learn that the victim is closely related to Arabella’s ex-husband, who had been acting as the Course Marshal. A Hole in One by Judy Penz Sheluk really impressed me. I so enjoy this author's writing style. She develops the characters wonderfully, writes a complex plot, has many unexpected twists, and does not make the killer obvious! I love it when I cannot predict the ending of a book. The narration by Kelli Lindsay brought the characters to life with her distinguishable voices and expressions. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. This book is the second in the Glass Dolphin series and is a standalone book. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Caroline McLaughlin does a wonderful performance with the various characters, giving them distinguishable voices and bringing them to life. Reed Windsor doesn't do relationships. Though he could charm the pants off any girl he wants, he's not interested. He's always been too captivated by a special someone from his past to get serious with anyone else. Sure, she has no clue he exists, but he's willing to bide his time and convince her he's worth a shot.

The Girl Behind the Red Door is spectacular! I love how Cassie Graham wrote such a lovely story that evolves out of something horrific. Being left at the alter is something any woman would dread. Charlie in this story did such a wonderful way of overcoming that devastation. The character of Reed is such an endearing guy. I loved the unexpected twists, incredible chemistry, vivid imagery, witty humor and references to waffles. Sarah Puckett and Steve Campbell are incredible in this book. They brought the characters to life. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and both narrators. Second chance romance is one of my very favorite storylines, and this book is outstanding!
