I was immediately pulled into Fatal Agreements by Ashley Fontainne from the very beginning. I loved how the author built the background for the characters in this book. The imagery in the story was impressive. I loved the Southern feel to the story. Having spent much time in Hot Springs Arkansas, I had a great sense of the area. Andrea Emmes performance of the book was excellent. She added the right tension and suspense and other emotions to the story. The characters came alive with her help. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by the author and narrator.

Murder and Chocolate Cake by Meredith Potts pulled me in with its vivid imagery. This is a short listen that has lots to it. I loved how the storyline was original. The concept of criminals going for retribution seemed a little far fetched, along with Sabrina's involvement in the investigation, yet so enjoyable. My favorite scene in the book was the mystery room with their daughter using deductive reasoning to figure a way out. The narration by Carrie Burgess was well done. She added the right emotions.
