The most interesting was the GRIM character, the least, the angel of death he was so . . run of the mill anti hero

Which character – as performed by Gregory Salinas and Angel Clark – was your favorite?

GRIM Reaper

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Where does The Magic rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I think this was an amazing book. It needs the prior ones in the series to shine, but shine it does! This is so far one of my favorite audio book series!

What other book might you compare The Magic to and why?

I am not fond of the others but The Choosing, is a good comparable book. Similar genre and with the same kind of exiting action and character development.

What about Angel Clark’s performance did you like?

Angel Clark is an amazing narrator. Her performances always suck me into the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I definitely wanted to listen to it in a single sitting, but I kept getting nervous over the fate of the characters and would have to pause due to its intensity. I finished it in two sittings though.

Surpricingly good!

Would you consider the audio edition of Jinxed to be better than the print version?

I have not read the printed version, but I definitely enjoyed the audio version!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Jinxed?

I think when Fate lost his cool in the apartment while cutty took care of Karma's wounds . . it showed a part of his character that I had suspected but not seen in action. He definitely cared enough to be upset.

What about Angel Clark’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed being able to tell all of the characters apart when she spoke, even before the names were brought up. The story had a consistency I enjoyed.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It mostly gave me angry moments towards the antagonist . . . and I did feel bad for Karma a few times.

Any additional comments?

The first installment of this series was very lack luster and I was not sure I would care to continue the series, but because I love the narrator I chose to give the next book a try. I definitely enjoyed this one better than the first book.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have recommended one of the prior books of this series, The Choosing, to a few friends, and now I have definitely to recommend this one. It begins as a fork in the story of the choosing, which is what drew me to get it in the first place. The pace is different, but still has the same charm of The Choosing that I enjoyed so much.

What other book might you compare Alien Mine to and why?

The wilds by Donna Augustine, for two main reasons. The pacing and the dynamic of the characters are both very engaging and though the themes are not as related to one another, they both have characters with a lot of depth and excellent narration

Have you listened to any of Paul Brion and Angel Clark ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Paul Brian was a new narrator for me, and he had a bit of a rough start, but he seemed to get into the story half way through. Angel Clark is among my favorite narrators and more often than not I chose audio books based first on her being the narrator, and secondly the topic.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to this book in a single sitting, while I worked and took care of some things. I don't think i would have wanted to pause it. I really wanted to know what would happen from scene to scene.

What did you like about this audiobook?

The dead is an amazing continuation of the series. I was a little worried it may not be as good as the first two installments . . but the story keeps getting better. It is def so far one of my favorites!

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

A single memorable moment is very hard to choose and I do not want to spoil the plot . . but Dax and Dal are very awesome

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

I think the first scene at the bar was my fav! The character has grown very fast, in a way. Which often makes sense when a lot happens to you at once.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

I did not find anything wrong with the narrator. As a matter of fact she remained consistent through all three of the books so far and I definitely enjoyed that sense of uninterrupted continuity.

Unexpectedly Pleasant

If you could sum up Khe in three words, what would they be?

Surprising, mysterious and Absorbing.

What other book might you compare Khe to and why?

Interestingly enough, I am not sure. The story is so unique . . ! It is scify-ish and mysterious and bit of a thriller . . but i fi had to compare them to anything, A princess of mars comes to mind a bit in style and genre.

What does Angel Clark bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The thrill of the story was well communicated through the narration. I felt like, she put herself in the place of the main character so that it conveyed all of the emotions the protagonist felt . . and the effect the events had on her.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was a book I wanted to listen to on a sitting and in fact I did just that.

Any additional comments?

Mrs. Clark brings so much to the table, I love all of her narrations!

What did you love best about The Hunt?

The hunt picks up rather quickly from where The wilds ends. We get to see stronger character development and interaction and I absolutely loved the direction the Dax character is heading.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Hunt?

The Hoard of beasts, absolutely amazing.

Have you listened to any of Angel Clark’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have enjoyed all of Angel Clark's narrative, and thus far this one is the most brilliant of her performances.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think the most moving moment came when the heroine confronted the glowing mist.

Would you listen to The Wilds again? Why?

Absolutely! I enjoyed the story, and well, the second time around you can always pick up on details you may have missed. It was very enjoyable so I would have a second or third listen without a problem.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Wilds?

Honestly there where two I loved, the meeting of teh beast in the wilds with the two main characters and near the end of the book where the "second shoe" dropped so to speak.

What does Angel Clark bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Definitely the dimension of emotions the characters had so much problems wrestling with. Being able to hear anger, or grief, it really gave the story a new dimension.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I would have to say, the rescue, after she was found again. She had finally given up. So someone else was there to do the fighting.

Would you consider the audio edition of Karma to be better than the print version?

Absolutely. I liked the narration better than the story itself . . I dont think i would have gotten through the story if I had had to read it.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

It felt like . . it was just a set-up book. A lot happening at once, no answers about much of anything . . like you HAVE to read the next book to understand the first and I usually don't like that.

What does Angel Clark bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Giving some cadence to the characters, it made me a bit more interested in them, than had I just read it. Her narration helps gloss over the . . quality of the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really.. I was a little annoyed more often than not. None of the characters seemed memorable. I did not feel invested in their stories or development.

Any additional comments?

I didn't enjoy the story much, and had it not been for the narrator, I would not have finished it.

What did you love best about Waking Up Dead?

The story was quaint and colorful. It had a flow to it, so it felt like listening to a film instead of a book. The characters where memorable and endearing, but not otherworldly it felt like they where real, regular people.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Waking Up Dead?

Definitely the heroine's transformation in the barn!

What about Angel Clark’s performance did you like?

The narrated the story well. The accents and the switches from characters was smooth and definitely made the story more enjoyable for me!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

That she found an e-mail from her mother . . I was glad it did not go into details i might have cried.
