Natalie Scott's life is simple, with no strings attached. As a band photographer, she's made metal music her life, and life on tour means no relationships. At least not ones that last, and that's the way she likes it. She only has one rule. Don't date or otherwise screw around with the client. But she never said anything about love. Brent Andrews knows Natalie's rules. He's about to make sure he's an exception to them. All of them. Even ones she doesn't know she has.

Enjoyable YA romance. Not for those of you looking for something steamy.
Good for younger audience. I would have no objection to my 13 year old reading it.

I think I have only once not finished a book.

Maybe if I kept listening it would transpire that a light gets turned on in her brain and she realizes she has a severe lack of judgment problem.
She lets a guy rape her once thinking it was normal, then did nothing when he attempted to rape her 10 years later.
The final straw, was leaving her backward 6 year old sister alone in the middle of a busy. arcade. Craziness.

They say Paris is always a good idea.... You know what I say? Paris would be a much better idea if I spoke the dang language. I can't even board the metro to visit the Louvre without ending up at the Moulin Rouge, and let's not even mention how I'll ever make it through a day at my new office. Fortunately my company hooks me up with my own personal translator. Ooh la la. Or should I say bloody hell? Because he's charming, witty, and British, and he brings the city to life for me.

The narration on this is so bad there should be a do over. It ruined the entire book.

No matter what part of the world someone came from they all sounded like an elderly upper crust Englishman from the 1920s.

For the life of me I don't understand how this ended up in production and not erased by the author trying to maintain her reputation.

I am by the way, a Susanna Kearsley fan. Such a shame of what was, no doubt a good book.

I was warned about Tristan Cole. "Stay away from him," people said. "He's cruel." "He's cold." "He's damaged." It's easy to judge a man because of his past. To look at Tristan and see a monster. But I couldn't do that. I had to accept the wreckage that lived inside of him, because it also lived inside of me.

Someone wrote that this book was a cross between Judi Picoult and Nicholas Sparks. I think not. You could be sued for such deformation. Someone else wrote it was very pornographic. The sex scenes were pretty lame too. Very corny. Terrible overacting from the male narrator and overly dramatic characters. The last few chapters were like the finale of July 4th fireworks. Each chapter outdid itself in the degree of drama.
