okay this is more like it all of the little tiny annoying issues that have been bothering me up until now we're just absent this is arguably my favorite one of the series even though the stakes were relatively low the heroes were pretty much guaranteed the win It sets up everything that's going to be important for the next stage of the series The Return of humanity the rise of Dave and the stone Raiders as a unifying force against the very real threat of the dark lord and the Lady of Light and the Earth Lord I am very excited

The Aleph were nearly wiped out for tampering with technology borne from Jukal Portals. The Demons of Devil Crater were almost turned to a footnote in history for rebelling against the Dark God. The Beast Kin were seen as a threat with their natural high affinities. Now all of these races have started to come back - the first stage in Bob's plan to save Emerilia.

okay this might seem like a minor nitpick and it's not really a major issue but it happened again they had a climax they reach the natural conclusion and then the book just kept going yes I always want more of this series it's a really fun interesting inventive creative world I love the characters but the pacing just annoys me it's not a major issue it's not a major complaint but it is a thing that I feel should be pointed out other than that it's so good can I appraise the series enough recommend it to everyone

once again I have to say it this book series has a weird thing about pacing about 2/3 through the book the climax hits and it's really great reactions pumping and exciting and it's a good payoff and then the book just goes on it's not like it's bad it's just that you you had your climax why are there like another 10 or 12 chapters other than that it's a really good series and I'm still more than excited to keep following it

so once again I'm starting to get the sense that the writer doesn't really have a good feel for pacing the world is amazing the characters are fun the action is great but the pacing is all over the place it honestly feels as if this was actually too shorter stories that got sandwich together into one but even with that complaint it's still a really great book and an excellent series I'm hooked

this book is problematic there is a lot to like boxy is his usual sociopathic comedic gold I love the interactions between the new lackey's and his two demon summons but early in the book they ruin the fun with a rape. at the end of the day when your main character commits a rape there isn't any fixing it there isn't any good way of pushing past it. it soured the rest of the book for me I managed to force myself to finish it out but really I'm going to say don't buy this one.

this was by no means great literature but it is fun. I have a few complaints here and there about Miner issues let me know the day do not take away from how much fun I had with this book it's a bit short and I hope that future installments are longer and that they improve on the pacing otherwise but worth it
