well read like a documentary. enjoyed

Any additional comments?

enjoyed the book very much. had a hard time to stop listening. It did tend to go into much detail in some areas about how certain folks felt or reacted to something that is well know by the reader but that is the only thing that took away. the rest is just fantastic.

I've been listening to this whole series and just love them. it's interesting and technical as well as excellent characters with enough action to satisfy that side as well. highly recommend them and cant wait for the next one. RC Bray does a top notch job narrating and really adds to the story and makes it real.

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

this book was more a short version of a few titles written by Grisham. especially the Rainmaker. Several Characters and their story were almost identical.

What was most disappointing about Victor Methos’s story?

it was written using someone else's story and

Which scene was your favorite?

none, i almost could not finish it

What character would you cut from The Neon Lawyer?

no comment

Any additional comments?

If i had not already read the Rainmaker maybe this would have been not so bad but when listening to it and hearing the almost identical characters one gets disappointed quickly.
it was also too short for what could have been a nice complicated story. lots of holes in this book that were never filled our built up.

What three words best describe Becca Battoe’s voice?

Her performance in the book was good, too bad the story is so bad.
