Imagine how different your life would be if you knew a way to hack your daily habits to become a highly self-disciplined and productive person. You will never quite know how many opportunities you have missed by lacking the self-discipline to truly follow through on your convictions. Whether it's attaining a new body, better job, or simply being more productive in life. All too often people fall short as they aren't equipped with the right mental make-up and mind tricks to actually achieve it.

If not, it is time to start working on your ability to persuade. It is often thought that persuasion, and the techniques that fall under it, is only used for selfish reasons, but this is not true. In fact, being good at persuasion is needed to get ahead at work, form friendships, and even when interacting with strangers.

Imagine how different your life would be if you could really know what other people were thinking in any situation. Unless you hone into the non-verbal gestures people are giving off, you will never quite know exactly what they are thinking - whether it's reading your colleagues in the office, your spouse or kids at the dinner table, or even a complete stranger on the street. All too often, people fall short of really picking up the true intentions of others as they depend solely on the words that are being spoken.

Sun Tzu's The Art of War and Machiavelli's The Prince both are fundamentally important works related to the areas of strategic leadership and decision making. Although almost every leader has heard of these works, very few have read them in depth and applied the lessons they contain to their own lives. This is a huge oversight. Both books contain wisdom and advice that are applicable to almost any situation a leader finds himself in.
