Thanks to Kyle Mills for picking up where Vince Flynn left off. I was worried about the authenticity of Mitch Rapp being lost but I was wonderfully surprised at how well it was written and picked up where The Last Man left off.

Rest In Peace, Mr Flynn. Mitch Rapp is great hands.

Before he was considered a CIA superagent, before he was thought of as a terrorist's worst nightmare, and before he was both loathed and admired by the politicians on Capitol Hill, Mitch Rapp was a gifted college athlete without a care in the world...and then tragedy struck.

it's a great intro to Mitch Rapp and the comment about the Trojan Horse in the first couple of chapters sealed the deal for me. I became a fan of Vince's books from the reply forward.

Hidden deep within one of the world’s most powerful organizations is a secret committee with a devastating agenda. Its members are afforded incredible protections—considered elites, untouchables. But when four seconds of video is captured halfway around the world and anonymously transmitted to DC, covert wheels are set in motion, and counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath is tapped to undertake the deadliest assignment of his career.

Brad Thor has outdone his previous thrillers with this book. Just like the Act of War and Hidden Order he demonstrates our weaknesses as a country and puts them into a story that makes you realize that we are very close to edge and how close we are to falling off it. Armand Schultz does an excellent job narrating the story, I would recommend this book to every patriotic American and veteran out there.

Ten days before Christmas, 2010, ATF agent John Dodson awoke to the news he had dreaded every day as a member of the elite team called the Group VII Strike Force: a US border patrol agent named Brian Terry had been shot dead by bandits armed with guns that had been supplied to them by ATF. Was this an inevitable consequence of the Obama administration's Project Gunrunner, set in place one year earlier, ostensibly to track Mexican drug cartels?

Marc Thiessen knows more than almost anyone outside the CIA about what went on at CIA “black sites” and at the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. As chief speechwriter for President Bush, he was given unprecedented access to some of the most sensitive intelligence our government possessed on al Qaeda terrorists. He has since spent countless hours interviewing the men and women involved in the interrogations at every level—from Vice President Dick Cheney to the interrogators themselves.

If you can hold a liberal down and perform the reprogramming like you saw in A Clockwork Orange, then you might be able to get the point across to them, otherwise you will have to settle for making them read/listen to this book.
