Setting down his thoughts on swordplay, on winning, and on spirituality, legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi intended this modest work as a guide for his immediate disciples and future generations of samurai. He had little idea he was penning a masterpiece that would be eagerly devoured by people in all walks of life centuries after his death.

I've read this book over 30 times and I keep going back to it. This is a master piece. I've read all the translation and this one is the best by far. The narration of the book is smooth, pleasant and with a rythm that gives you the time to absorb the wisdom. I can't recommend enough. Get it!

When I am trying to become something, it is a constant battle. Can the brain itself see that it is caught in time and as long as it is moving in that direction conflict is eternal, endless? Can the mind realise, resolve a psychological problem immediately?
