Honestly, I alternated between liking the story and being uninterested. But I was invested enough to be sad to see certain characters go. Nothing wrong with the book, just not something that got me super excited to listen.

To be honest I was not sure about these books at the beginning. There's a lot of information that you aren't privy to, to understand the atmosphere of Eli's world. But if you give it a little bit of time it is a pretty quirky and interesting series. At the end I was definitely looking forward to listening to more books in this series to see what happens with Eli

This was a nice story in that it was realistic and believable. I thought the narrator of the first book was very dry and reminded me of a non fiction tv show narrator. But the person that performed the remaining books was easy to listen to.

this was an interesting take on a genre that you see here and there. The story was interesting and kept you focused on what was happening but still have plenty of twists and turns. the narration was pretty good but for some reason sometimes the narrator's voice drifted in and out.
