I struggled to stay interested in this story and was rewarded only by the conclusion of it. That's when the character's empty doggedness is exposed. Glad I didn't pay full price.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The book needs a few more pages. It feels like a collection of pieces that are building into a full story. I would bring the Grandfather "experience" into the story earlier. She could have more of the dream fleshed out. The friends were both under and overdone.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Lee Child or Jonathan Kellerman

Would you be willing to try another one of Khristine Hvam’s performances?

Not likely

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
