Shinn interprets biblical passages as pathways to activating our beliefs. The Secret Door to Success includes success stories of her students to illustrate the power of the spoken word to attract prosperity, love, and good health. This book is a sequel to The Game of Life and How to Play It.

As with The Game of Life and How to Play It, I have listened to this book a number of times. I get something new out of it each time. The content it tops, of course, but the performance adds so much. I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who has even a passing interest in metaphysics or in breaking through barriers.

Enjoyed the book. The narrator‘s voice got on my nerves. Why not hire a woman? Rosemary Benson would have been perfect. This guy is a bit of a robot. Still, the content is great! I’ve already started using some of the techniques.

Every new project (or job, or hobby, or company) starts out exciting and fun. Then it gets harder and less fun, until it hits a low point: really hard, and not much fun at all. And then you find yourself asking if the goal is even worth the hassle. Maybe you're in a Dip: a temporary setback that you will overcome if you keep pushing. But maybe it's really a Cul-de-Sac, which will never get better, no matter how hard you try.

The information in these books is, of course, beautiful and valuable. I had not heard most of it before, so I was delighted to see that it was available. The only problem I had was the narrator. Most of the time, he was fine. However, a number of times he decided to do character voices. I cringed. It was totally not necessary. To my mind, the job of the narrator is to read the book and stay out of the way. These voices just called attention to the narrator. That said, it was well worth what I paid for it, which was one credit.

"No" is sometimes the hardest word to say. It's also the most necessary. How many times have you heard yourself saying yes to the wrong things - overwhelming requests, bad relationships, time-consuming obligations? How often have you wished you could summon the power to turn them down? This program will help you take back your power by showing that a well-placed "No" can not only save you time and trouble, it can save your life.
