It's the first book by CM Raymond I've ever read, and I fell in love with it immediately. a powerful vision of a city, which had started as a utopia and was turned into a dystopia, very well written characters and a great plot made the book fascinating. It touched on numerous important issues: abuse of power, manipulation, master - apprentice relationship and responsibility for your creation. All wrapped up in a fast paced, action packed plot, full of twists and turns. It was heartwarming to see strong familial relationships and loyalty still existing in this cruel environment.

I loved the beginning of the series and I'm looking forward to listening to the other books. The narrator was excellent and portrayed the characters and their emotions perfectly.

Highly recommended.

I'd been curious about popularity of reverse harem books, and I wanted to try one. Though it isn't exactly my cup of tea, I enjoyed this audiobook. It was well written and the narrator was excellent. The pace was good, and the characters had certain charisma. The touch of supernatural gave it additional feeling of danger and animalistic life power. Full of sex and crude language.

I loved this new way for Darcy to understand his shortcomings. I admired Elizabeth taking him to task so strongly about Wickham, who is as wicked here as it gets. The way to smoke out Wickham was brilliant, I enjoyed the way Darcy managed to swallow his pride and exposed his former friend's crimes. Georgiana's recovery was described very well, and she blossomed.

Steve Zimmerman is one of my favorite narrators, and this one was as perfect as her other audiobooks.

I enjoyed this story very much. It had a lot of angst, but Darcy and Elizabeth were building their relationship steadily, though it started from a very undesirable position. Most obstacles were external, and villains were excellent.
My favorite original character was the Dowager, it was so great for Darcy and Elizabeth to have a mother figure in their lives. I missed the Bennet family, but the Fitzwilliam clan filled that void pretty good. They were interesting characters.
Highly recommended.

I loved this new Jann Rowlands' variation, and I believe it to be one oh his best books. Elizabeth is a bit depressed at the beginning, but she is a fighter and she perseveres. The Drummond are a very interesting family: a bitter mother, delightful children, and a father who tries to hold his head high, despise of the family's reduced circumstances. Darcy and Georgiana are friendly and loyal, and help Lizzy overcome her melancholy.

I enjoyed the interactions among local society, the ladies who appreciated Lizzy's spirit and wit, as well as the jealous ones. Georgiana, Olivia and Elizabeth friendship was heartwarming. And Lady Emily with colonel Fitzwilliam were very colorful characters.

My favorite part of the story was the Bingleys and Caroline's visit. Miss Bingley's antics are always a great fun, here she is determined, full of disdain and arrogant, the way I like her. I always believed, that Jane's life with Caroline in residence wouldn't be a pleasant one.

The narration was pleasant, but it didn't fit a Regency Era story, would have been much better suited for a Modern book.

Highly recommended

I loved it. Darcy's persistence in winning Elizabeth's heart was endearing. Lady Catherine and Mr. Collins were at their worst, just perfect. Darcy and Elizabeth had their share of misunderstanding (as usual), but they shared a few tender moments as well. The scene on the balcony was swoon-worthy. And I enjoyed Caroline in all her snide glory.

I loved this book as much as book 1. Nile and Domenic had even more challenges ahead of them, and their enemies were more dangerous and evil than they had expected. Unfortunately for Nile her royal duties finally caught up with her, and she found out, that there was more to her fiance than net the eye. I loved the creative way she helped the Prince and his real love (no spoilers). Many turns and twists, great characters and plot kept me reading for most of a night, until I finished it.

The narration was great, depicting different personalities very well. I'd love to listen to more of Mts. Bellamy audiobooks.

I'm looking forward to more adventure and romance, which are ahead of Nile and Domenic.

It's a very short story for children with dairy allergies, presented in concise and fun way, not overwhelming to children. I especially appreciated different kind of information: eating 'do and don'ts', educating peers, managing daily life and entertainment, coping with lack of kindness and understanding.

I was impressed, that the author managed to include dietary, social and psychological aspects of living with a serious allergy in such a short lesson. Great job.
