We all parade around as our “representative”, living a life of lies. That is so exhausting!! Yet somehow easier than being authentic. How ironic! Glennon’s alternative choice is inspirational!! 😃

At City College she becomes engaged politically with the left-leaning student groups, and eventually, in the midst of the Depression, she takes a job with a trade organization that has a position for her in Moscow. Ever curious & eager to know more about what my parents & grandparents might have experienced, I am grateful to Georgia for all her research and efforts in writing this fascinating book!! I listened with bated breath as all the siblings faced horrific situations and marveled at how they outsmarted those bastards and managed to survive and prevail!! Makes me a proud Jew!!
