My man Marc Thompson read the line "Hello there" just like Obi-Wan Kenobi, no book can be better than that. 5/5 performance

like the previous book in the series, I felt it hung to much on memories from the OT, however unlike Disney's new movies being pumped out asap without a second though, it is an original and fun story that pulls you in, the extent of playing off your memory is just the occasional "hey remember when this happened?" that admittedly comes off a bit annoying. 4/5 for story

Tatooine - a harsh desert world where farmers toil in the heat of two suns while trying to protect themselves and their loved ones from the marauding Tusken Raiders. A backwater planet on the edge of civilized space. And an unlikely place to find a Jedi Master in hiding, or an orphaned infant boy on whose tiny shoulders rests the future of a galaxy.

From the beginning I enjoyed the reader's voice, but I wasn't too sold on the story. I expected grand lightsaber duels with entire legions of Tusken Raiders, the silencing of Imperial Stormtroopers and defence of of farmhouse. The story read to me surpassed my expectations and told the story of a broken Jedi and his humble lessons in the judland wastes from his first days to the eventual conflict between himself and the dangers of Tatooine in a book that brought a tear to my eye, yet made Obi-Wan's fate seem slightly less depressing. There’s something out there: a juggernaut of evil bearing down to crush the Republic - unless one lone Jedi, shunned and reviled, can stop it. Revan: hero, traitor, conqueror, villain, savior. A Jedi who left Coruscant to defeat Mandalorians - and returned a disciple of the dark side, bent on destroying the Republic. The Jedi Council gave Revan his life back, but his memories have been erased. All that’s left are nightmares - and deep, abiding fear. What exactly happened beyond the Outer Rim? Revan can’t quite remember, yet can’t entirely forget.

This book was absolutely amazing, it was great to hear how Revan went about after the games along with seeing him and his crew adventure once more. I honestly can't decide if I like the tale of Revan or the Original trilogy more, so why did I give the story only 4 stars?

It's really a simple answer; if I hear them describe how Drummond Kaas is dark one more f-ing time I'll take a bath with my toaster.

As ruthless apprentice to Darth Vader, Starkiller was mercilessly schooled in the ways of the dark side, commanded to exterminate the last of the purged Jedi Order, and groomed for the ultimate Sith power play: assassination of the Emperor. He served without question, killed without remorse, and lost his heart without warning to beautiful Imperial fighter pilot Juno Eclipse, never suspecting that he was just a tool in the schemes of his masters - until it was too late to escape their lethal betrayal.
