There's nothing like a good deli, and the Red River Deli in Trenton is one of the best. World-famous for its pastrami, cole slaw, and for its disappearing managers. Over the last month, three have vanished from the face of the earth, and the only clue in each case is one shoe that's been left behind. The police are baffled. Lula is convinced that it's a case of alien abduction. Whatever it is, they'd better figure out what's going on before they lose their new manager, Ms. Stephanie Plum.

My first review after purchasing well over 100+ audible books, as well as over 100+ Kindles. Sadly enough, I'm done with the series as well as the book :-( I am so sorry Ms. Evanovich. I've hung in there for 25 novels, looking forward to each adventure with Stephanie, my alter ego. I hesitated last year, bought the book, hesitated again this year, bought the more. I'm asking Amazon to accept it as my first return. The 8th-grade locker room humor (a thong disappearing up Lulu's hoohaa when she bends over in a restaurant) is more than I can enjoy. Evanovich can and has done better than that. However, I'm still enjoying her spinoffs :-)
