Tracker is everything I've ever wanted. I see him. I've watched time change him. I've been patient, but he still hasn't noticed me. Not the way I want him to. The more time I spend with the MC, the more I understand. When you want something, you have to take it. You have to fight for it. And Tracker is more than worth fighting for....

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I didn't like that there was no real drama here. No real threats for Tracker to save Lana from.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I plan to listen to another Chantal Fernando from a different series. I have enjoyed the Wind Dragon MC, but I'm a little tired of their drama. So I think Ill go back and get the back story of Knox's Tavern with Reid and Ryan. However, I will return the the MC clubhouse when Irish finds his match.

What about Eva Christensen and Sebastian York ’s performance did you like?

I loved Eva's performances in this series. She really gets into the roles of the sassy, firecracker.

Only when Bailey's connection to Rake puts her in danger from another Club member does he realize that there's nothing he won't do to protect her - and claim her as his once again.

What made the experience of listening to Rake's Redemption the most enjoyable?

This was my first book in this series, so hearing about all the characters for the first time was the most enjoyable part for me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Tia. Her fun loving, take no sh*t attitude. I'm always looking for a good BFF character in a book and she fit the bill perfectly.

What three words best describe Eva Christensen and Sebastian York ’s performance?

Sebastian York is my favorite male narrator! I think I could listen to him read the phone book. I would describe the performance as sexy, alpha and tough. I wish Adam had more chapters in the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen in one sitting. TWICE. I became a real of this MC.

What did you like best about The Pact? What did you like least?

I like how the story reminded me of some of my favorite romcoms. Literally as I was listening I pictured actors and actresses that could play the parts of each character and how awesome it would be as a movie. I didn't like how underdeveloped the story line about the parents was. We never really got to know why that family dynamic was the way it was. Maybe in the next book in the series.

Do you think The Pact needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes

Would you try another book from Lisa Renee Jones and/or Charlotte Penfield?

I did try to read the next book in the series and it left me just as unfulfilled as this one. I returned it and would have returned this one if it had not been free. Charlotte's performance didn't do one thing to save this book for me.

What could Lisa Renee Jones have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Make the heroine less of a dim witted damsel and the hero more likable.

Would you be willing to try another one of Charlotte Penfield’s performances?

No

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Escaping Reality?

I would have removed all the sex, the connection between the characters just wasn't there for me. The book would have read better as a mystery.

His name is Royal, but he's no prince charming. He's not even a prince - though you could say I loved him once upon a time. He was my older brother's best friend. Growing up, he sat at our dinner table every Sunday, teased me mercilessly, and pretended I annoyed him. When I was old enough, he took me on my first date. Royal taught me how to drive. Escorted me to my junior prom. Gave me my first kiss...among other things. He was my first taste of toe-curling, all-consuming, can't-sleep love.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I thought the male performance was lack luster. The female performer was fine, but neither made the story come to life

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder. In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees. Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times best seller Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.

Would you listen to Walking Disaster again? Why?

I really enjoyed listening to this story told from Travis's prospective. I have already listened twice.

What other book might you compare Walking Disaster to and why?

I have no comparison for this book, but I am actively looking for another character to take me over the way Travis did. I even tried another book in this series, but was thoroughly let down.

Which scene was your favorite?

My Favorite scenes all involved moments where you see Travis's raw unashamed love for Abby. When she left him after there bet, when he cried with his brothers, her birthday party. I could never pick one favorite.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed, got really pissed off at the stupidity of man and fell in love. There have been very few male characters to move me the way Travis has.

Any additional comments?

I would be remiss if i didn't give the narrator a very big shout out here. He was great! He made me feel for Travis in a way I'm sure I never could reading the story myself. I definitely would listen to another performance by him.

Would you try another book from Tijan and/or Graham Halstead and Summer Morton ?

The narrators were good. I wouldn't shy away from another performance by either one, but I won't intentionally seek them out like some others.
This was my first listen/read from this author. I had just finished Walking Disaster and needed something to fill the void that was left after Travis Maddox. Let's just say Logan Kade did not measure up.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I think I am going to try Royal by Winter Renshaw.

Which character – as performed by Graham Halstead and Summer Morton – was your favorite?

My favorite character I guess would be Taylor since most of the story was told through her perspective.

Was Logan Kade worth the listening time?

I finished it, but it's not a must read.

Any additional comments?

Again, this is my first read from Tijan, and I am not dying for another listen

Look, but don't touch.... She might as well wear a neon sign that says it. It just makes me want her more. She might be above me in every way, but I still want her under me. I've got no business touching her rich-girl skin, but that won't stop me from stealing a taste. Because rules were meant to be broken - especially when the prize is so fine. Where does Beneath These Lies rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

of all my listens this book wouldn't be in the top 50%. While I found the story line entertaining (3 star worthy), I found both narrators flat.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the alpha male theme of this book.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I appreciated the male narrator's attempt at the NOLA accent. I hated how flat all the characters seemed through their performances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen in one sitting, but only because I had a long project to complete and this book kept it interesting.

The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

What would have made Entwined With You better?

An actual plot or storyline. This book does not stand alone like the first two. Nothing worth reading happened.

What could Sylvia Day have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Actually finished the series as promised instead of writing this filler book with no substance. Just more character background.

Which character – as performed by Jill Redfield – was your favorite?

Eva

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Entwined With You?

Some of the over abundance of sex scenes! And maybe replace them with a resolution to the main storyline of Eva and Gideon.
