In 1945, the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki became the first and last victims of the atom bomb, the most destructive man-made force our planet has ever known. Or were they just the latest in a long line of Armageddon-level events? Is it possible that our civilization is, in reality, just one of many? Did previous cultures blossom, develop, and thrive only to destroy themselves, tens or hundreds of thousands of years ago, with the same atomic technology?

I wonder if the author has ever considered kinetic weapons? I believe they have a very similar effect as a nuclear device.
Also if there was a war in heaven brought down to earth are you sure it's over?
I wonder if the author has ever considered the book of Enoch? It may be the oldest book in the world since it goes back to pre diluvian days and it was considered scripture for most of Jewish/ Christian history. I mentioned it because the Book of Enoch makes it clear that a corrupted version of humanity was destroyed because the Fallen dared to alter the creation, Us in particular.
I believe this account is backed by the writings of the Sumerians who also described gods that created hybrid half-man half-god humans and even dare to create Abominations half man half animal Etc...
Would the author think that destroying this makes God homicidal?
and the final irony is that here we are doing it again with what we call bio-engineering... Daring to play with the very programming of creation without even barely understanding it at all.
in The Book of Enoch it makes it clear that the Abominations the Fallen created existence of true Humanity... I wonder what will be the consequence our intrusion into God's programming in this time in this age?

In a world devastated by nuclear war with humanity on the edge of extinction, aliens finally make contact. They rescue those humans they can, keeping most survivors in suspended animation while the aliens begin the slow process of rehabilitating the planet. When Lilith Iyapo is "awakened", she finds that she has been chosen to revive her fellow humans in small groups by first preparing them to meet the utterly terrifying aliens, then training them to survive on the wilderness that the planet has become. But the aliens cannot help humanity without altering it forever.

but I'm not sure I like it. does anyone doubt there's something wrong with human beings? that we are assholes to each other but the story disregards any notion of a good or evil presence Among Us inciting Behavior. both good and bad .. until very recent times Humanity knew and understood and even depicted and it's writing and drives the presence of others Among Us and that we were in their War
we bemoan the constant War of our world but we fail to recognize in recent times the necessity to oppose evil
Leo's were created therefore to protect their mate and their offspring from harm a hostile world. I don't believe sidelining masculinity is the answer to Humanity's problems for making us more female. simply look at Europe to see how the metrosexuals are unable to defend themselves any longer. the problem in our society today is that masculinity and male aggression is not Channel towards protection so it is left unschooled to become a problem. this has then done so that those in charge of our society May dominate without the resistance of a strong man.

As a child, Chris Hooper dreamed of monsters. But in deep space, he found only darkness and isolation. Then, on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man. When a shuttle crashes into the mining ship Marion, the miners learn that there was more than trimonite deep in the caverns. There was evil, hibernating and waiting for suitable prey.

I say that it is an imaginary fantasy because this is a world with super powered people in it.
however, that is not the only reason why it is a fantasy. which do you think is most likely to occur knowing human behavior? would super-powered humans become superheroes, or would they more likely become super arrogant elitists and their enforcers?
if human beings became capable through the manipulation of DNA science to create super-powered humans do you really believe that they would live alongside those of us without powers as equals, or would they dominate Humanity? How likely do you think it would be that they would enslave normal humans? what does human history show us?

Titan was one of the nation's most loved and respected Heroes, until an infidelity scandal tore his image and family apart. After decades spent out of the limelight, Owen Daniels has decided to take up the mantle of Titan once again to try and make amends for his years away. Unfortunately, the Titan Scandal is still common knowledge, and no Hero team wants such a polarizing figure.

the action and a lot of the story is pretty good like the rest of the series... I gave it a warning because, spoiler alert... the lead character is a HeMan homosexual. also another lead character refers to those who don't agree with this particular perversion as something like ignorant cow f******, and a diatribe of other expletives. so if you don't particularly care to be insulted or proselytize to wards homosexual acceptance then I don't recommend this book

Meet Threadbare. He is 12 inches tall, full of fluff, and really, really bad at being a hero. Magically animated and discarded by his maker as a failed experiment, he is saved by a little girl. But she's got problems of her own, and he might not be able to help her. Fortunately for the little golem, he's quick to find allies, learn skills, gain levels, and survive horrible predicaments. Which is good, because his creator has a whole lot of enemies …

I've noticed that authors and Hollywood producers can make you love the bad guy and I hate the good guy bye making one seem nice and the other seem mean. it's a psychological trick but neither of these main characters are very different in their actions only in their demeanor
