Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

What did you love best about One Second After?

Timber of the DAD -- his believability -- the over all situation a person would be faced with

What did you like best about this story?

the search of a persons insight and where it could/can lead you -- the actions I believe will/can happen if such a situation is ever enacted upon us.

What does Joe Barrett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

really enjoyed his voice timber/tone as situations arise and act out

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me ever more aware how fragile our personal existence is and how much we rely on "things" and yet don't actually "think" about them.

Any additional comments?

Take with a strong side of reality -- don't go too far to the left and get all survivalist.

Zombies are real. And we made them. Are you prepared for the zombie apocalypse? The Smith family is, with the help of a few marines. When an airborne "zombie" plague is released, bringing civilization to a grinding halt, the Smith family, Steven, Stacey, Sophia, and Faith, take to the Atlantic to avoid the chaos. The plan is to find a safe haven from the anarchy of infected humanity. What they discover, instead, is a sea composed of the tears of survivors and a passion for bringing hope.

Where does Under a Graveyard Sky rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Found these (post apocalyptic) stories to be really engrossing. Mr Ringo has captured the moment. Have been a fantasy/sci-fi reader since Nam, Tolkin // Star Trek, Richardson, and this man does his job well. Have listened to all 4 and truly hate to see this series close.

Have you listened to any of Tristan Morris’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Really super to listen to // great voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me want to look around and make my own life better resistant to others whom might wish to intrude.

Any additional comments?

Well done Mr Ringo.
