All it took was a flick of the wrist. A deft touch of his sword point and Drake the Dragon bared her bound breasts. Then with the heat of his hands along her skin, he bared her soul. All the wantonness Jacquelyn had denied herself as a famous courtesan's daughter, all the desire she'd held in her heart while running Lord Gabriel Drake's estate flooded through her at his touch. Not that she could let a bloody pirate know it. Gabriel may have left his seafaring days behind, but his urge to plunder was stronger than ever.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Reading is always well spent, but wont read/hear it again. The narrator is ok, but no accents... I need british or scottish or irish for my pirates!

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I think better for contemporary or westerns

Could you see Pleasuring the Pirate being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I recommend many others before this one... not enough pirate in this book.

It was whispered all through London society that he was a murderer, that he'd spent his youth in an asylum and was not to be trusted - especially with a lady. Any woman caught in his presence was immediately ruined. Yet Beth found herself inexorably drawn to the Scottish lord whose hint of a brogue wrapped around her like silk and whose touch could draw her into a world of ecstasy.

What did you love best about The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie?

Just love the "madness" of Ian and ..love his strong scottish love for Beth and his brothers!.

What other book might you compare The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie to and why?

I love regency romance and this really had its own special story... plus the heroine is perfect for Ian...cannot think of any comparison...

Which scene was your favorite?

There are many but love how Ian takes every word literally.. my favorite is how Ian finally gets to begin to laugh because Beth cannot ride a horse and keeps falling off and the supper afterward was great~

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Many areas moved me because of Ians madness.. appears normal but is not, and absolutely love how Beth makes it all so simple...

Any additional comments?

There is no whinning in this book, no repeating, has its own deep twist with wit ...love it...want the series in audio asap!
